Ipswich away is a bit of a banana skin.

Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

I got this from Evening Standard, it's possibly wrong(I mean the ES one, not the BBC one).

Edit:
Just checked it on the EFL website :
1  Burnley
2  Exeter City
3  Ipswich Town
4  Manchester United
5  Mansfield Town
6  Middlesbrough
7  Port Vale
8  AFC Bournemouth or Stoke City
9  Aston Villa or Everton
10  Blackburn Rovers or Cardiff City
11  Brentford or Arsenal
12  Chelsea or Brighton & Hove Albion
13  Fulham or Norwich City
14  Lincoln City or West Ham United
15  Liverpool or Leicester City
16  Newcastle United or Manchester City
Good call. BBC have now changed us to 13

Oh dear. Ipswich playing well. Never mind. Could be worse.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

SuffolkWhite

Ipswich are a good passing team and in form, will need to play our best team for sure!!!!!

As I said, heated ball???

Steeeeeeeeeed

Middlesbrough fans have a long journey to Exeter, 6 hour drive or over 7 hours by train...and 11 hours back by train after the game 😊

It's got a loss written all over it to be honest but I'm a natural pessimist. Hopefully their league form cools down a bit and we go full strength

SerbianLad

Honest question. When was the last time Manchester United played away in either one of the cup competitions? I seem to remember them playing pretty much all, if not all, cup games last season at home.

Will take Ipswich. Certainly could have been worse.

Agreed. Ipswich joint top scorers in the Championship.

St Eve

No complaints. We avoided Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Newcastle and all other premier league teams.

Twig

If we can't get past Ipswich then we don't deserve to go deep into the cup. It's not an easy draw but one we should win.

McBrideOfFrankenstein

Ipswich flying high but shaky at the back.

KentFulham

TOugh draw that, good side and in form. Seeing more PL teams playing each other, we must field a ful lteam and go for a QTR final spot!

This game will be played (1 November) between Brighton (29 October) away and Man Utd at home(4 november at 12h30)

Silva will have to rotate the squad, schedule is difficult and very busy. Not even 72hours for the players rest between the games...

Guys like Palhinha will rest in this game, we need him fresh. Premier is the most important.

Agree at home. Any other teams will warrant our best team playing.

From a selfish perspective Ipswich away, but they are looking good at the mo.

All round yours for pre and post match drinks v Ipswich!!

Begs the question: how long does it take for an uninjured player, who is accorded the highest standard of physio care, to recover from a game?
