I feel like this sort of statement will be said of any professional really.....Its everyones dream to play in these tournaments so it's a bit of a pointless statement really.

It's a real shame to see some of these players not buying into the "project" here like Robinson did when he signed his new deal and was vocal about it. Makes me appreciate Antonee as a guy even more.

Second time now Perieras been touting himself about for a move, no one willing to take a chance on him at this level and we give him a platform, and 2 years and a couple Brazilian caps later he's in multiple interviews advertising himself out without anyone even openly being in for him specifically. Different if a champs league club was making bids publically but this seeming open invite call to them just never feels professional to me.

That said, I like Andreas enough but I'm not convinced he can't be improved upon. Price wise what could we realistically expect? £25m? nearly tripling our money on him would be a fine return if it's spent wisely.
For me ESR has a way higher ceiling at a similar price but wether we can make that happen I don't know.

Pereira thinking he can play regularly at a CL club in the Top 4 leagues (would probably play for someone like Brest in France as an exception) is hilarious.

I don't mind him.  I love his work off the ball and how he leads the press, but realistically drifts in and out of games too much and his end product is insufficient for someone who starts every game.

Its more the way he's saying it. She just asked about his future and he's seemed to indicate he's actively looking for a move - which would be in line with the last article that came out where he was basically saying the same thing.

It's one thing saying - Obviously I'd love to be playing at the top top level of European football, but I am a Fulham player and so as things stand my focus is there. But saying you are anxious about where you will move to next to play champs league footy is a different statement. "Regarding my future, of course I'm anxious, but I think I'll leave it until after the Copa América" - "I want to play Champions league football....where it will be I haven't decided yet" ...it just doesn't read well to a Fulham Fan to me. But hey. that's the game.

If he's playing for Brazil he can play in the champions league.

Fully understandable as to why he'd want to, he's a professional footballer and has ambitions.

I've always thought we could achieve a premium for him and use the money more effectively to strengthen, let's do it..

Stuttgart or Liepzig maybe?

That sort of club. I don't think he'd be getting into any of the major players so he'd be playing in a lesser league to do it. But hey. up to him.

Can't imagine Marco would be overly happy with Tosin, Willian, BDR, Andreas AND Palhinha all out the door when we're trying to build on top of what we had but what can we do, these players seem to want to move on and so we'll have to be busier than planned it seems.

West Ham establish contact to sign 24-year-old wide man after Tottenham exit, Fulham also keen

According to a report by The Guardian, Ryan Sessegnon is the subject of interest from West Ham United. The Hammers are scouring the market for a left-back heading into the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old has thus emerged as a viable target, especially after his departure from Tottenham Hotspur as a free agent.

The 24-year-old was one of the most sought-after prospects in England during his spell with Fulham before Tottenham Hotspur secured his services in August 2019. However, Sessegnon could not establish a foothold in five years at the North London club, managing only 57 appearances while chipping in with three goals and four assists.
Sessegnon's disastrous spell with Tottenham will officially end on July 1 when he becomes a free agent. However, the former English youth international does not have a shortage of suitors despite his dreadful stint with Tottenham. He is a target for his former club, Fulham, with West Ham United also joining the race to sign him.

Fulham's interest in Ryan Sessegnon is understandable. While the 24-year-old has primarily been a left-back in the last few years, he is equally adept at playing as a winger. So, with Willian in the twilight of his career, Fulham should sign a young wide attacker, bringing the outgoing Tottenham wide man into the picture.
As for West Ham, the Hammers have established contacts to sign the Englishman. They have not zeroed in on Sessegnon as their top target and are still mulling over a summer move. However, the outgoing Tottenham man is a viable target, even though Aaron Cresswell has signed a contract extension.
Sessegnon might remain in London after leaving Tottenham, with Fulham and West Ham vying for his signature. It will be interesting to see where he plies his trade in the 2024/25 season.

What sess needs at this point in his career is an arm around him and Fulham is no better place.

He left us with respect, signing that contract that allowed us to make a bit of bank off him.

I believe there's still a player in there, what type of a player is yet to be seen, he lacks the ability to past a man but always found himself in the right place so obviously has a great understanding of the game.

Agree with all that.  The problem for him is that none of those clubs will pay us the £25m plus that we would expect as a fee for him (no reason to accept a lesser amount).

Shame about Willian if it is true that he wants to leave. I think he will aim to move to a bigger club where he will be a bench player. If he is happy with that then good luck to him I suppose.

If we sign 2-3 replacement players of the same quality as ESR then I think we will be fine...

If true, 'where it will be i haven't decided yet' is a bit ambitious. As if he has a choice of all CL competitors.

I agree - most of them are unlikely to pay what we'd want.The only ones who've spent that sort of money before being Monaco -  PSV and maybe Leipzig

Everton and Fulham have included FC Metz's Lamine Camara in their target list, according to a report from France.

Last season, the midfielder made 35 appearances for the French club, who have been relegated from the Ligue 1.

Camara has two years left on his deal, and Jeunes Footeux state he's unlikely to stay at Metz for a long time.

The Senegal international is 'coveted' by several clubs in the market, including Everton and Fulham.
It's claimed the Premier League duo are keen to sign the player, who is also being chased by an unnamed Bundesliga side. There's also rumours of Galatasaray wanting to sign him.
Camara is valued at €10m by Transfermarket, and the report says Metz are expecting a fee close to that figure to sanction his sale this summer.

This should be affordable for the two English clubs, but it isn't clear if they are willing to convert their interest into an offer. Everton and Fulham could take advantage of Metz's relegation to try to sign him for a lower price.

That way, there may be a bargain deal available.

I think this summer is a chance to take advantage of clubs in FFP danger or clubs like Arsenal which have a ton of players who want bigger playing role and sign a couple of younger good players like Emile Smith-Rowe.

Oh Periera is simply sending out an invitation to all of the big clubs to come and get him, we should make sure he understands there will be a price on his head.
Not at all worried about this as Iwobi easily slips into the number 10 role, just hope if he leaves it is early in the window so that we know at an early stage the value of our transfer kitty.
