Quote from: Hatch007 on August 12, 2025, 12:08:27 AMSomething that impresses me about Kevin from his highlights reel is his willingness to often take on a defender on the outside.

So many inverted wingers cut in all the time and slow/lose the momentum on an attack.

He is by far the most exciting player we've been linked to IMHO.

Let's hope his injury isn't too serious

Knowing he is injured are these rumours a red herring and we have someone else in mind.

In the ongoing Serie A transfer standoff between Atalanta and Inter, Lookman is forcing a move to Inter (he's actually in London training alone and is refusing to return to Atalanta) Inter have called off the deal and Atalanta are standing firm on a €50m price tag. But if this deal goes through, will Muniz be on his way?

Quote from: Drewry66 on August 12, 2025, 12:02:57 AMIf he was pushing for the move does seem a little strange that he would retweet a magic Fulham moment at this specific time if he was that unhappy and desperate to leave Fulham or am I reading way to much I to that?

 :slap:

Or it's a nudge to the club that he wants a new deal.

Or is he saying thanks for the memories I'm off

Quote from: SerbianLad on August 12, 2025, 12:45:25 AMFor those who are saying Muniz didn't play in the first friendly against Eintracht, who did then?

Surely Raul couldn't have played 2 full 90 minute games? And Loupalo-Bi was on the bench for the second game, which rules him out too because otherwise why not put others who played in the first game on the bench too and have more than 5 players on the bench.

Seems illogical to me to think that Muniz didn't play in that game.

I still cant figure why the club hasnt said anything about the game
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

General

Right, time for the club to go all in on Kevin, Nelson, Sterling and Zinchenko.

Bored of this and it's time the club got their act together.

Win the fans back TK, SK and Ali Mac.

Want them all in on perms or with option for perm.

January window they then need to get in a CM who can score goals.

And also sign Marco and Muniz to longer contracts, now.

We've got a good thing going at the club on the pitch and it's time to get behind it.

"Even if Fulham want more?"

What's that all about. Unless the player actually fully throws a tantrum and official transfer request we have zero reason to sell here. £30m up front, really? Obviously huge return on what we paid but... Sounds like complete b***ocks...we reportedly turned down more than that from Leeds already.

Something seems way off there

Not shooting the messenger here ... but why would we let him go for 35m euros when Leeds had 37m refused?
and Fulham do not have to sell him either...
All very odd... not sure about Nicolo Schira's credentials?

Wtf are all these agreements in principle BS these days? Back in my day, you had to approach the club first before approaching the player.

Schira is widely considered an unreliable source. See here from the scum down the road: https://www.reddit.com/r/chelseafc/comments/h0bvbk/tier_guide_update_nicolo_schira/?rdt=53300

Also Twitter thread from a few years ago exposing him: https://twitter.com/Millar_Colin/status/1245352315755921408

A lot of fans on here will be jumping for joy if it looks like Muniz is off.

Personally a bit gutted, think he hasn't been treated well on contract by club, that needed to be renewed last summer after he showed he was capable of being a PL striker. Not on ridiculous wages but an improvement.

Now he's had two good years and still hasn't had a new contract.

I don't believe Schira who is a poor journalist, but DiMarzio running that he wants out is a big concern.

Seems like this move could well happen. Wouldn't be a Fulham summer without losing our most valuable asset.

Muniz goes what worries me is we won't have a replacement lined up.
Muniz is still very inconsistent and has a lot of maturing on the pitch to do also seems an emotional character.

Just curious, why do you think a lot of fans will be jumping for joy? Most comments I have read seem, very strongly in favour of him staying. Have I missed something?

Some of our 'glass half empty' fans at the start of the window were suggesting they'd happily offload him for much smaller sums than quoted from the likes of Leeds. Been a consistent theme from the same posters from last season as well singling him out. Its an opinion but it does exist. I don't think it's 'a lot' either though. Definitely a minority.

Think most of our fans like him, but there is a pretty large number of people that actively seem to deride him. Saw on here that Hojlund would be a 'huge upgrade' the other day for example.

He's one of the top 3 players in the league for minutes per goal last season, so it's always completely beat me that it's subject to discussion.
