Quote from: General on September 01, 2025, 05:13:40 PMChukwueze is a Nigerian international? Will be off for AFCOn?

Seems dumb to let Wilson go if so.

Still have Sess and for the time being Adama to play on the right wing also.

Let's be serious, sess is left footed and a LW, that'd be clutching at straws.

We'd still have Adama and Iwobi then Sess at a push

Iwobi is at AFCOn too

Fair point. As pointed out though George plays RW too. So Adama and George + Sess, and possibly other wingers might join the party.

Kev's agent is demanding the same cut Sporting are offering him. Fulham currently unwilling.

IF true, they really are a leechy bunch ffs.

Down to agent fees then - which we haven't been super high on spending on them in previous years from memory (may be wrong but there were many other clubs paying more than us)

Sporting just spent another 22m euros on Ionnidis, bringing their spend this summer to 68m euros.(104m generated from sales, now 68m spent from incomings)

He gets same deal either way.
Prem or Champions league in a country that speaks his language. Imagine he'd be happy either way, may even favour the sporting deal. Who knows

Weird how we have a rush of news spewed out by different news agencies and platforms all regurgitating the same stuff. Then we have absolute silence from everybody.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

According to a neighbour this is all talk, his son is a journalist, and Fulham are waiting to announce the signings together.
Whether he bullpoo*** me,I have to wait and see.

It would be typical of drama queen TK.

Can we get to 400 pages without a signing of significance?

Cheese n toast and mushrooms on top. ::wink::

Did we actually sign that kid from Chelsea for 22 million?  Fulham have agreed a £22m fee to sign winger Tyrique George from Chelsea.

If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

This almost requires fan protest en masse. Even if we do get Kevin and Chuk in now. Diabolical way to do business.

Fulham Tup North

Quote from: Rambler on September 01, 2025, 05:12:05 PMLook it's 2 hrs to go. Even if he wanted to go to sporting I don't think he'll be able to fly over there and have the medical in time now.
Their window closes at 11pm... ::thumb::

But surely you just pay it.
It's a tax you pay for leaving the deal so late.
At the end of the day, in an open market you don't get anything unless you're prepared match what anyone else is prepared to pay.
Simple really.

Why? If Kevins agent wanted a bigger cut how is that our problem or fault. Or maybe Kevin wanted to go to Sporting and that was the delay. Or just maybe everything is fine and we wont hear until tomorrow when it is announced officially. Why speculate on all this when we have no idea.

So I just had an hour nap and still no news of anything close despite the window closing in an hour and 13 mins

Good luck to Martial. I liked him and I think he has a potential to be a good player, but as I said already, this deal is pretty much perfect for all parties (high enough for us to accept, low enough for Strasbourg to take a gamble, good for Godo as he'll get more gametime).
