I don't have a problem with just a seasons loan. If the guy performs and helps keep us in the prem or pushes us into domestic cup finals or Europe. Gives AA more time to get things how he wants in other areas of the field.

Apparently Mastantuono could also be in doubt. This has been the single worst transfer window so far. I am not looking forward to Chelsea, we will get slaughtered unless we sign a striker, CB, RW, and a 6 or 8 in the next couple of weeks.

I'm finding it best to not pay too much attention to transfer rumours this time round, so many always flying around and a lot come to nothing.

Given how past summers have gone and TK saying in a recent interview that getting players in late saves on salaries, I'm not surprised that we haven't brought players in yet.

I personally don't like the way the club operates, will be interesting to see what our squad is once the window ends, but it's another season where there's around a month to go until the season starts and it feels like there is a lot of work to do.

But we simply can't do that again, it's just common sense. You've got a new manager who plays a completely different style of football to Silva, we've lost players from an already threadbare squad. Arbeloa needs to bed his philosophy in and TK doing his last minute rush will be disastrous. We need to get the main bulk in early as possible. I think (hope) we'll see a couple at least in next week or so

I'd give anything for us to change and operate in a less chaotic way. I'm just saying that I've accepted it won't change.
