Glad you enjoyed the Gregg Allman version of 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken' Bestof Brede.Agree with you it is quite moving.
From what I know it was a celebratory show of his from Atlanta, 2014. Gregg, who had returned to the road after a liver transplant, was paid tribute by dozens of his closest friends.

Thanks for the compliment BofB  but I'm no music aficionado I just post what I enjoy listening to now and have done  over the years.
Into  most genres and have discovered many new ones from posters on this and the Friday Evening thread.
Would never have listened to Japanese bands if it wasn't for Lighthouse.

Sadly this band have announced they will be on hiatus after 2024. They have been going for years and sometime Japanese bands use the term 'Hiatus' to mean they are off doing separate things, getting married, getting divorced or simply have had enough. Or just need a rest and will be back.

Using traditional  Japanese instruments as well as modern. They have a unique sound that hopefully people will enjoy.

Youtube guitar legend Dave Simpson and his band Red Giant have released the first single of the new Album

The song was written according to the legends of the Dolgan people. The song is in the Dolgan language (a dialect of Yakut, which is common in Taimyr). The text tells about the Ice Age, mammoths and ancient people who inhabited northern Siberia. The lyrical composition is performed on ethnic musical instruments of the indigenous peoples of Siberia. In the track you can hear the sounds of cracking ice, the tread of a mammoth and the life of cave dwellers. The music immerses you in a different, pre-civilization era, in the wild, cold, prehistoric tundra. The meaning of the song includes the hypothesis of the initial settlement of America by indigenous peoples from Siberia through the Bering Strait. The main feature of the composition is the male choir of throat singing.
