Living in a camp's a bit basic.
A nice little flat in Imperial Wharf should swing the deal.

What? Why do footballers sign contracts at weird times? Guy should be asleep at midnight but instead signed a five year deal 😂

Would we have stipulated a relegation clause with him? His track record the last two seasons must be of concern ???? To those of a nervous disposition ????

Cherki would be cheaper than expected because the French league is in a mess with TV money I think. Could be a lot of bargains to come out of France over the next couple of years. PL clubs should be scouting the hell out of it.

It said the deal was completed by his agent?

He doesn't want to join time to move on

Interesting that we've been negotiating for 3 weeks, maybe not as much of a plan B as some people are fearing. Very funny that we've potentially used McTominay as a smokescreen as well

Okay but my question still applies. Who signs deals/contracts at midnight? It's not deadline day so not like waiting until the morning like normal people would result in the deal breaking down.

Quote from: LC on August 22, 2024, 12:19:07 AMI would like to see Jack Clarke join us. Fits the profile, he's English, and plays on the left. Probably available for about £20m.

So funny @Woolly Mammoth I saw the word English and knew you would have liked it hahah, as soon as I saw English and one like I knew you would be the person to like

Clarke good player, rate him. Think Cherki defo better option but one to revisit if Cherki rejects. Asprilla and Gnonto also would be great options from Champ.

So, SB says, it's been a little bit back and forth the last few weeks.

Was he MS's choice all along?

Just shows how good at being under the radar our club is.
It could be better, but it's not a fantasy:

5 year deal for Berge too which helps with amortisation as well and maybe more wiggle room for further signings
