Bought that Yes record Close the the Edge, the only Yes record I bought - thought it was great. Good to hear it again.

Still got all my vinyl records , in a box, only yards away from me now, some classics, old Blues records and other rare stuff, but bever play them - haven't got a record player anyway.

Very similar to me, all my John Mayall vinyl's sitting in cupboard, I have managed to replace a lot of them on cd's, but I can't get rid of them, obviously the sound quality is better, but you can't beat a good album cover.

John Lennon songs about his mother, Julia, who gave him up to be brought up by her sister ,
Mimi, then was killed in a car accident.

Julia . from the Beatles, White Album -

Mother live,  from Lennon's solo album Plastic Ono Band

I discovered Beth Hart yesterday, where has she been all my life, what a voice,
If like me you've never heard of her,try listening to "Stormy Monday" featuring Slash,
You'll thank me for it.

Lighthouse

Two bands with less than 300 subs in YT. Yet more talent than many superstars in the West.

The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

Favorite song of 2024. Australian indie rock band from Brisbane. Really chill track.

X Japan were huge back in the 80s. Power Rock and Punk and very much the superstars of Japan. They recently did a Tour about a year back and Band Maid were the support in one Gig.

They insisted that The Maids came on stage with them and sung. While they did their gig The Maids could be seen in the audience rocking out like the rest of the fans. Anyway this is a power ballad and if nothing else their hair and style shows how 80s they really were.
