Thought Mateus Fernandes looked pretty decent against us the other day and has been a bright spark in a fairly inept Saints team. He's capable of playing as a #8 next to a DM or can also play as a #10 and looks to have a bright future - he's come up through Sporting and Estoril so I'm sure Silva and the coaching staff are aware of what he can do & he's 10th in the PL for duels won so happy to put himself about as well

I mentioned him on the 'vultures' thread for the same reasons!

Fernandes and Ndidi would go a long way to improving our midfield, and would leave a lot of budget for wingers (which is where I think we need to spend a fair amount this summer).

Yup would make sense. Tbh with Cairney another year older if Reed moves on it's either Kings time to shine in his absence at CM or we may need a DM and CM this summer

Apparently Spurs will need to sell players in order to buy this summer. Anyone Marco would be interested in? Richarlison? I can't imagine he'd be cheap to purchase.

Richarlison is a tricky one: I have queries over his attitude, but he's a proven PL goalscorer who can play out wide and has been successful with Marco before... I guess for the right price he could be good, but with Sess and Iwobi on the left, and Raul/Muniz through the middle, maybe we don't need an expensive/older player who's an LW/CF?

As for Spurs more generally, Bissouma should be available and he feels very much like a Marco sort of player and the sort of player we need to strengthen our central midfield.

Would love Elliott to come back. The flak we give him is pretty unfair IMO and he takes it like a man anyway, usually having to warm up as a sub in front of the Hammersmith End/corner. If he had the balls to come back I'd respect that 100%. And let's be honest a young attacker with his skill and creativity is exactly the sort of thing we're missing. A young front three of ESR, Muniz and Elliott all at their best would be a joy to behold.

Would be a great signing IMO.

He was only a kid when he left us and seems to have done a lot of growing up since then.

Having the option of Sess, ESR and Elliot across our attacking midfield would be an impressive/young English lineup.

Certainly Elliot would be the Cairney replacement... left footed midfielder plus would add to the home grown pool if we qualify for Europe.

We have to have four HG players between 15-21 in the squad for Europe.

If we got him, we would have Elliot, Sessegnon, King and Godo whom would fill that requirement.

Personally I couldn't trust Elliott and certainly wouldn't want him at Fulham.

I don't understand where he would play in Marco's system. Right Wing? As the #10? I don't mind him as a talent but really struggle to see a fit style wise or physical stature wise. Marco seems to prefer more physically imposing guys which does not describe Elliot.

As far as I know jedi has an ongoing knee issue and I'm sure other clubs are aware of it.it suprise me he's played a brilliant season despite it as it was reported this time last season .

Would love us to go all in on Richarlison as a statement signing - he has been quality every time he works with Silva and with us getting Europe I hope we could attract him. Another positive about him is he can play across all 3 attacking positions so gives us great depth also
