Can't say I've watched any Saudi league but he has been scoring goals for fun; 47 in 51 games. Saw some highlights and a few very nice goals along the way.

Know the league is a bit of a strange one and a mix of quality players, and many who are at a low level - but think he's performed well seemingly and hasn't gone there to be on the beach. Seems in good shape.

I have gave my opinion more or less in two different threads here, but here it is.

I do actually think he's been at the same quality since he left us in pretty much every aspect of his game. The only think he really lost is his "durability"(for the lack of a better word). I haven't watched him in Saudi league, but I have seen him in every national team game in which he played since going to Al Hilal. He can play about 30-45 minutes at full intensity and then he can play a bit more at a "medium" intensity up until about the 60th-70th minute. Then he looks like he can barely walk. But his finishing is as good as it was (if not even better than it was), his hold-up and link-up play is as good, etc. I think his "durability" would improve once he got back to a league where games and training sessions are more intense. If he was to come back to the PL, I'm sure he'd still be superb after a pre-season with a PL club.

That being said, I'm against him coming back for multiple reasons, but the main one is, I don't think it makes sense with us already having both Muniz and Raul on the books and because of the asking price.

Mitro coming back would impede Muniz's development so not sure I'd welcome that but I selfishly I wouldn't be against it either if he can still score 10+ goals a season. Also I'd absolutely hate to see him play for another PL team because I know he'll just score a hattrick against us.

Rayo Vallecano are holding talks with Fulham over a possible deal to take the centre half back to Spain after he expressed a desire to leave Craven Cottage.

The 25 year-old only moved to London last summer in a £6.7m deal from Villarreal but the cultured defender only made twelve appearances in his first season in England and is keen to play first-team football. The former Barcelona defender has long been admired by Vallecano, who tried to sign the former Spanish under-21 international twice previously without success, and Los Franjirrojos have proposed a loan with an option to buy.

Reports from Madrid suggest that Fulham are only interested in a permanent transfer and that negotiations between the two clubs are underway. Cuenca has struggled for game time due to Fulham's decision to sign Joachim Andersen in August and Marco Silva's pairing of the Danish international with Calvin Bassey at the heart of the defence. The Madrid-born centre back's contract runs until 2028, with Fulham holding a further twelve-month extension option, and Fulham would be looking for a substantial fee to sanction a sale.

Might explain why we've been linked with left footed CBs. Haven't really had any complaints about him but can understand why he would like to move on as I doubt he is going to dislodge Bassey any time soon.

If we can sell him for a profit and he wants to go that is alright by me. Good player but shouldn't be impossible to replace.

Cuenca perfectly sums up for me why it's a pity we missed out on Europe.

Had we qualified we could have guaranteed the squad players significantly more minutes a la Chelsea in the Europa Conference.

I wouldn't blame Diop and Cuenca for moving on but they are bloody good back-ups. Diop, particularly, was unlucky not to play more in the PL given Andersen's suspect form after his injury

I'd be a bit surprised re Cuenca as always seemed to be loving it despite not playing much. Not much game time so perhaps true.

To be fair if someone wants to pay us £20m+ a great bit of business for us. Will prob cost that to replace him but we'd bank the profit now of course whereas the incoming would be amortised so could work out well to free up even more FFP room if he really does want to go.

Pretty much 0 chance we agree to a loan I reckon. We are more than happy with him as our back up and literally no benefit to us for loaning him.

If he did want to go wouldn't be surprised if his agent can find someone who wants to stomp up £20 odd mil. Believe we only got him for around £6m as very little time left on contract. Was a starter in Spain all last year I believe and when he has played for us against two of the best teams in the world in Liverpool and City looked nothing but incredibly solid. Perhaps a promoted team here might have a look for around £20m? One to watch if he really wants off. Like the profit but nice at this point knowing we don't have any major holes in the squad (assuming Tete signs) and this would create one.

With the likes of City and Liverpool having already made big money moves for players in same position, I just don't see any club coughing up that sort of dough for him. Man City was the outlier as I assumed pep would want Robinson to convert into his Walker replacement of sweeping the backline, whilst also making those deeper attacking runs with his extreme pace, but without them, who else is going to?  Feels like a non starter rumour to me.

I doubt the rumour very much, but there are clubs abroad too. He almost joined AC Milan back in the day and they are currently selling off a couple of players for big money. It is possible if very low chance.

Don't forget Robinson was all set to move abroad (AC Milan) before health issues stopped that.

My feeling is a) He may still fancy the idea of playing abroad and why not.
              b) He is a respectful, intelligent chap who will not make a big song and dance about moving on but is ambitious enough to test himself at a higher level if the opportunity is there.
              c) At almost 28 now is the time to make a move and maximize his earning & performance potential.

If the right interest comes in I reckon he will leave.
