Does nothing to reduce our age profile. Unless Jimenez is going, which I doubt, we don't need another highly experienced older striker. Give me young, raw, hungry and pacey please!

He will be 33 come next season... not sure we need any more geriatrics..

Clearly a good player in his time and believe we were rumoured to be interested when Mitro went. Should be a significant upgrade on Vinicius but that's not hard of course.

Suppose there are two options with this third striker position. Young with huge potential or old and cheap but who can do a job for a year or two. Clearly this is the latter and most of us want the former of course. If it meant we could get the likes of Fofana and Bellanova for crazy money if they truly are worth it by going low here I could live with it but there better be some pretty spectacular signings if we are to go cheap rather than looking to the future on this third striker position.

Hopefully he chooses us then and then we don't need to worry about that position this season. Tete+Castagne is one of the best right back duos in the league.

I mentioned the other day that it wondered if it might not be over and possibly Tetes agent could be working to get improved terms for his client.

Would be more than happy if Tete stays. Think last seasons injury wasn't really from the same stuff as before but from that unlucky collision.

Pretty much, Not been up to much in italy to be honest but still performing at international level.

As you say once very good in portugal but not been prolific since leaving there.

As a 3rd option he'd be better than Vini but agree Id rather see us splash out on young and exciting having lost stansfield and Osmand.

WOW...few did say it wasn't a done deal. Come on big man King Ken...you know where it's at!

Jashari has no 'Ardon for Fulham

Looks a good player, interesting to see us linked to a high quality DM ...if there's any truth to the article at all

Will be a few good players worth taking a look at in that Lyon team for sure though and it'll be a proper fire sale too

Could do worse than looking at Georges Mikautadze at CF. Might struggle to convince to compete with Muniz and Raul though

Very worrying if this is going to be a consistent phenomena. We saw it with Willian now with tete. Players and agents will see us as a soft touch if we're not prepared to walk away

I'd be interested in their keeper too; he'd be a good backup for Leno this season with the potential to be a long term starter, he's also a giant at 6'6

Well, have to agree. With his age, injury record and lack of playing time whilst with us, even with his skills and contributions, let's not get mucked about in negotiations with old fish eyes
Move on and upwards
Younger fish in the sea with more potential
We need to step up

We will not match Everton's financial package but Kenny may prefer to stay where he is loved and comfortable.   Still expect him to go.

The guy might have been injured fair bit but he's been very good generally and we'd be hard pressed to improve him without considerable outlay.

If we can re sign him at a decent wage thats not too extreme (highly doubt we match what Everton have offered) then it saves us millions that can be spent elsewhere

Chukwueze available , one we've been linked too alot. There's talent in there thoug hes another who's gone a bit off the boil since joining serie A

Not sure we massively need another RW though

Yep, gives an impression of reactiveness rather than proactiveness. Can't think of many other clubs that have had same odd situations we've had with Willian and Tete.
