He would have to do a he'll of a lot to redeem himself in my book.

I still dont think the hype was justified in carvalho, he was good but our team was awesome, and he was no better than the players around him, e.g. Wilson. He had to improve to be in either Brentford and/or Liverpool, and he thought he'd jump straight into both.

Just read a report that FFC are pushing Bayern to allow JP to return on loan @200k week. Bayern want permanent move but FFC claiming lack of game time hence loan at this stage.

So I have told the players really like him, but of course that could be false.

I really liked Carvalho when he was with us and still believe he has an eye for goals and could be a match winner.

The problem is those goals and match winning performances happen too infrequently with not a lot else to offer and he's going to drift down the leagues if he's not careful.

Like many talented young players he really hadn't learnt and embraced the difficult stuff needed to be a complete footballer and his "star quality" was soon seen to be not enough in a team game.

So I have told the players really like him, but of course that could be false.

My next door neighbour works for Brentford as a youth coach and expressed the same opinion. Said he's been surprised at how well they handle transfers. Only letting players go once replacements are already signed up so with Mbuemo gone and Wissa heavily linked, it'll be interesting who replaces.

He did say he's worried for them next season though.

Someone asked him about half an hour ago if he'd heard anymore about who was at Motspur and he said "not yet" 

Assume someone only told two new faces but not told who. Who knows if the info he was given is even correct. Even if it is you know what Fulham are like...take 5 days for them to put a video together to announce it! 

I'll update if he says anything else on it but been way quieter than yesterday for any updates after that this am.
