If we're trying to buy Nelson for £15m with 2 years (plus an option) left on his deal at Arsenal I can't see us getting anywhere near £20m for a 30 year old on the last year of his contract. I'd be highly surprised if we got even £15m tbh.

Regarding Traore he is definitely an asset to us but how many minutes will Marco give him when we sign more wingers, the price we can get for him depends on the club's interested and we know from the neco Williams fee that Forest often pay whatever it takes. I have a feeling that the Nelson,Stirling, Dewsbury Hall transfers are Marco's choices so until he signs a new contract the club want to get them on loan incase a new manager doesn't want them, remember we can only have two domestic loans.

Nothing strange about it. He has basically zero experience from senior football, only some international caps for Canada. Belgian League is actually quite good so no chance that a top 3 side would give him game time. Mid table club is perfect for him as playing time is key

I'm sure they'd love to sell Sterling for that sort of money but unfortunately for them his astronomical wages mean that's highly unlikely.

I'd imagine we'd only get like £3-5m for Traore basically to offset wages, as he only has a year on his deal. In the PL he's had 14 G/A for us which is actually a solid return considering he's only featured 53 times in the Prem for us. I still think he offers us a lot of others don't, and that speed later in the game is a weapon.

As a squad player, think he's great to have around.

As for replacing him with Sterling and Nelson - Okay, not a bad option, but less of a powerhouse going forward.

As for KDH, Chelsea will want big money for him, and recoup the fee they paid. Did think he was ideal for us before his Chelsea move as an heir to Cairney's throne.

I know I will get shouted down but i'd take Timo Werner as our 2/3rd striker and cover on the wing. Leipzig wanted him gone for dirt cheap earlier in the pre-season and i just think with Marco being the great man manager he is could get Werner back in confidence again
