Quote from: Jeroen on July 30, 2025, 06:11:51 PMIf Newcastle sells Isak at £80m it's only logical that they look at Muniz and will be difficult to stop at £55M

As much as I don't want it to happen...
£55M will go a long way at a striker and younger talented player, so very difficult for Fulham. To hold onto him (with a higher wage & champions league football)

Surely that depends on payment structure and how much we're given to spend

Flamengo have a 20% sell on so that has to be factored into any price. I love Muniz and want him to make it here, but once the price goes £50m or up, realistically that gets us two players given his amortization will be naff all, and given SK goes on about sustainability a lot, that's our big summer sale to fund the windows extra incomings before we even consider the sales of AP and Reed (not saying I'd do it but sort of logic the club would employ I'm sure)

£55m for Muniz? Fancy valuing my house?

Deuce

Seems like Muniz agent is working overtime trying to get his client a new club

Or a big raise in a new contract

Possibly, but it does also seem that there is concrete interest in him too. It's a pretty crazy striker market out there.

I'd be grateful if he tried focusing on what he's paid for right now.

Yeah clearly very few decent ones about. Why we must keep him really no matter what the offer is as looks like clubs who need one are pretty desperate.

TB1973

As previous comment we don't need to sell

We have actually let 3 Strikers go (Mitro, Jay, Vini) since we last brought a new one in. I don't think we can afford to make it 4 with Muniz either unless we want to become one of the desperate clubs.

Doesn't it just. All in the name of an improved contract i reckon.

Muniz does but I was referring more to the greedy agent.

Marco after the match:

"Unfortunately, until now we have just signed Ben. Unfortunately, we don't have players to adapt for our group. This is the moment of the season you should use for it, when you are all together in a camp. We usually use this time for new signings to adapt..."

Silva: "... unfortunately for us, it's not the case. We use it in a day different way - to build, not just the physicality of the players but to create that bond that has been key for us as a group. To use the games to see what we have been working on, day by day."

I can't stand football agents.

Quote from: junior white on July 30, 2025, 02:45:10 PMI can't say links to Zinchenko excite me, even if he will be cheap. He isn't a DM at premier
League level (international football is different to the PL), and we don't need a left back unless one is leaving. He has been pretty poor since his last season at City, he could get that form back I guess but not a rumour that for me is exciting.

But don't we need cover at LB?

demeant0r

We do need a LB cover so we can free Sess to play on the wings where he's more dangerous.

A Loan deal for Harry Amass from Man U would be a great option for cover a LB to free up Sess to play LW - yes he's young but already given senior game time , would be a great development for him to learn from Robinson

Why would they loan him out to sit on the bench here? Might as well stay ant united and learn from Shaw.
