If Robinson is injured, how much would Lamptey cost from Brighton, was injured a bit and then could seem to get back into their team

Isn't he a RB not a LB?

Rumours circulating from Italy on social media that Muniz asked to be left out of the game at the weekend, did anyone find out the line up from the earlier game.

I'm probably in minority, but I prefer someone like Taremi or Sadiq to someone like Romulo or Pepi. We need someone who'll be comfortable with being 3rd choice which means they'll probably be out of the squad completely in a lot of games. It also saves money that we can spend elsewhere where there's greater need of signing a player.

He wasn't on bench either

Personally, and I know its easy, but I wouldn't trust anything from any source in Italy. Notorious for being slanted on their terms. Discord was saying Muniz played in behind closed doors game, and was seen at the game watching our lot vs Frankfurt ie with the squad.

Italian media really pushing Muniz narrative though and a lot of 2+2=5.

So we are selling Castagne, Adama, ESR, Andreas, Diop, Lecomte, Cuenca, Reed, Ridgeon and Godo too. Since none of them were in the starting 11 or the bench either. I'm 99% sure Muniz played in that other game, like the rest of these players I've mentioned. These people just want to get interactions on social media.

Let me clarify I'm not saying this means he's gone or that any of the others are either. I was just answering the posters question.

By the way, Reed, ESR and Pereria were in fact on the bench

According to Capology Taremi is on more than 100k EUR pw at Inter, that's a hell of a lot for a third choice, especially if we're supposedly worried about SCR. And surely he wouldn't take a pay cut of more than 40%?

An Italian newspaper says they think they can do a deal at €40m which is less than the £35m we turned down for Muniz at current exchange rates from Leeds

Can someone confirm the sell-on cut Flamengo would get from a Muniz sale, is it 20%?

Thanks, so pretty big. We need to factor that in to any sale.

Definitely seems the interest in Muniz is concrete, but Atalanta could be a risky move for him as Gasperini left this summer and Juric has come in.

I'm one of Muniz's biggest fans and definitely don't want to sell, but if the player wants to move though then that changes things. I've not seen any pre-season games but some people are suggesting his body language hasn't been great.

FFC1987

I think this is as I mentioned, Muniz agent looking at optics of his contract offer with us and making sure its competitive. Italian media claiming we're going to accept a bid roughly the same we already turned down and linking a Frankfurt friendly screams of low ball media.

Of course, it goes without question that the deal would need to be right for us financially. Whether we can get Taremi to agree to a pay cut or we get someone else in similar mould is less important. I just don't think we should spend big on a striker who would expect to be first choice. Either get someone who's getting near the end of their career or someone who's really young, as those type of players are more likely to be okay with being left out of the squad in some games.

I know - it is laughable!  :slap: Sadly, some people appear to believe it.

Agree that we wouldn't want to spend big, but if Muniz goes it feels as if we'll need to.
