Seems a good deal for Forest.
Yeah, this one has the potential to really hurt.

Well, we have King, ESR and Pereira who all play his position.

And Wilson, Iwobi and TC who can all play there.

I hope it's not true DSTM

Any news about Kevin and Nelson?

Yep. Forest do a lot of wheeling, dealing and hoarding and that's not Fulham's modus operandi at all.

I can't speak for his involvement in the BCD game, but he was definitely at the Cottage in the afternoon to watch the 2nd game
well that's relieving to hear. I'll be sure to pass that on. Did you see him there then?

I wasn't there but watched on FFCTV and saw him heading towards the tunnel post game

Am I correct in believing Muniz is one of the lower earning players at Fulham.
His agent will want to change that!

Reportedly 7.5k a week so yes. I do think this is an agent positioning before signing new contract. Although if silly money did come in for him then we can hardly turn it down even with a difficult two strikers to sign deadline....

Quote from: F(f)CUK on August 11, 2025, 12:14:02 PMI didn't like Muniz' body language. Would suggest that the statement about him requesting to not be involved might be factual.
Also if he played in the earlier game maybe he was just knackered, feeling bit off colour, I never take much notice of so called body language.

I stated that he looked off on the match thread. He looked like Alec Guinness in the original Star Wars film.

Palace lost their appeal so they are now playing Conference League and Forest takes the Europa League slot for sure. We may see Nuno coming back in for Adama, as he is on his last year of deal we should and will probably take anything over £10m.
Now that Grealish is off to Everton maybe time for cheeky run at Tyler Dibling, we have a gap on the right that he would work in?
Quark, strangeness and charm

Why can't we turn the money down? I thought we were owned by a millionaire!

This is the more likely situation IMO!
In one form or another we saw this with Tete & Everton and TC & Wrexham.
And thats only in this window.

Not being funny, and as much as I love Muniz, if someone's offering say £45-50m for him, that's silly money and i'd snap it off. Muniz has shown glimpses of real talent and potential but the big question mark is, can he be consistent enough. So far, no hence why i just don't think you can turn that money down. Just my opinion of course.

I saw Muniz leaving with a yellow Sainsburys Bag For Life which looked like it had all the gear from his locker in it

I don't know if I'd sell him a this point in the window knowing it would leave us with 1 senior striker who's 34, but that potential sum of money goes a long way to signing 2-3 extra players on top of the ones we'd probably already got lined up

Surely it would have been Waitrose or Mark's and Spencer as a minimum??

If he truly had kicked his toys out of the pram, we got offered £50m and we already had a Pepi or Romulo or even a returning Mitrovic lined up then and only then could you see us sanctioning it. The striker market looks to be a nightmare and we already need a third. All massive if's above but not impossible I suppose. Marcos press conference on it will certainly be interesting.

The money and replacements goes without saying to be honest. We know we have owners that won't sell if we don't have something lined up, looking at Palinha, and even when Mitrovic left we knew we had Muniz as backup and potential, with Jimenev at least helping fill the void.

At this point I struggle to see Pepi leaving knowing he's #1 at PSV, guaranteed a year of European football and a good season gets him a big move next summer, and Leipzig will chuck loads of money at Romulo now they've sold Sesko. If we were actually going to move for one of them, we should've had a deal for Muniz lined up so we could trigger both deals at once and not be caught short, but it looks like Atlanta are adoptiing our tactic of bid later and hope for a better deal, which in turn leaves us slim pickings to sign two strikers when we already needed one, and will need another one next summer when Raul leaves
