We are at the point now that the thread is a giant lift and we're all in it asking other people

Doesn't look like anything new but here's hoping he's tied up before the man I game if the reps are in town Monday.

Still not loving them talking their time to get here 😅 squeaky bum time opening the door to others.

between €40-45m is no joke. Big move, but excited by this potential addition to the samba whites, sparky player

Looks a great signing but we need a striker too, Hojlund would be the perfect duo

All depends on what's out there I guess.

Hojlund or anyone that level of expenditure would probably mean muniz departure.

looks like teremi as 3rd option, if we keep Muniz that's fine imo. Upgrade on vini ....Otherwise yes well need to reinvest heavily in that position

Would like to see Muniz go, nothing particularly against him, but as a thing, the club need to start buying and selling, knowing when to do both a bit more regularly to improve them team, make profit etc. We can be a bit stagnant, particularly on the selling.

If we keep up the process of buying mid to older players and holding on too long, we won't see much in the way of profit but maintain a high wage bill, for a club our size that presents problems. Becoming a bit more fluid in buying younger, youth and selling and buying, we could be a bit more agile

Agree with most of this but conversely, if the aim to is to increase the youth and potential in the squad, you could argue that selling our youngest first team player (Muniz) would be a step in the wrong direction.

Keeping Muniz and acquiring Kevin would be two good moves IMO.

Then would like to see a few further signings aged 17-23 but of course that won't happen.

He can only join us if he agrees to Macedo on the shirt and not kevin

I guess Kevin Macedo would be ok

Agree but for me the proactive selling should be the fringe players like Reed and those who haven't quite cut it but with a sell on value like AP (and not picking on those two they are just examples). I think it's a combination of salary management and sales income that helps fund your agility.

Agreed. Those 2 along with players like Diop, Wilson (unfortunately), and Cuenca are where the most profit would be. In most cases it would also minimally impact the squad if a similar priced replacement were brought in.

FFC In Oz

Just saw that Roma are in for Leon Bailey for a loan with an option deal.

Would be a sensible pickup on that sort of arrangement, given his experience in the Prem

Would be but Romas a pretty special place to get a chance to play so if they're interested then having already played at a club in Europe above us, might be a tricky sell
