When (if) the club announce Kevin I hope they tweet something like "the boy DOES like the destination after all".

Not that it's an necessity and probably unlikely but would like to see someone come in to challenge Leno personally. Someone like Ortega at City who has just dropped a further run down the ladder. Loan perhaps with a option perhaps?

Is this parody? It's literally the one department in which we have strengthened this summer!

Gone cold on the Nelson front - Imagine he'll go Palace. Big shame, as he has a lot of links with existing players, so when fit, he would fit in.

Although, Kevin + Chukwueze probably bring us something else, but may take a few weeks to adjust (hopefully not).

Brobbey would have been good, but hard to welcome him here if Muniz/Raul are the two options - both are great strikers, so attracting a 3rd isn't going to happen, as we rarely play with 2 strikers on the pitch.

Kevin + Chuk would be two good signings.

Another central midfielder, with the ability to play more in a few roles would be great. But if Kevin and Chuk come in - Iwobi will probably be the 3rd option in the 2 spots there. So unless something comes in that is a no-brainer deal wise, I think we'll settle on the two wingers, and hope that Harry renews too as he can fill in the gap at 10 too when called upon.

Would make CM the priority next year with TC and Reed likely to depart.

CM options: Berge, Lukic, Iwobi, TC, Reed
10: King, ESR, Wilson
Wingers: Kevin, Chukwueze, Wilson, Iwobi, Sessegnon, Adama.

Which probably makes me think that's why we've also been slow as we've not had that many exits. But, it just means the forward planning for next year has to start early.

Especially as Adama, TC, Reed, Wilson could all go next year - Sess I imagine we'll trigger option for extra year.

Nah, I think the club are happy with Leno - and he's probably a leading star in our side. Lecomte was what was needed, an experienced keeper that could give Bernd a break and can be relied upon.

Florentino Luis to Burnley deal agreed, surprised he's ended up there. Expected he was destined for bigger things.

"Both deals still progressing". What the hell does that mean after months of "still progressing" or similar inanities?  Ah well I'm off to play golf and perhaps by the time I get back one or both will have progressed to a positive conclusion.

I'd say Sterling would actually be our best option for a 3rd striker, as he can really play any of the three positions across the front, still has his speed (though never been a great finisher and low in confidence). The thing for him is dropping out of the big teams, and I think that would benefit him at this point of his career. They all pen the opposition in, meaning there's less grass to run into, it'd be different with us. Plus there's some big man/little man opportunity with Muniz/Raul - again, not really an option at any of the big 6 clubs. The wages are clearly crazy though, and unless Chelsea cover a lot of them, he's golden handcuffed there.

Accept a low deal and get some money back

Or pay them all knowing he won't play 🤷

Up to them. In inclined to agree he's a very good option for what we need.

I would also then probably sell Adama to make the books even healthier despite being a fan of his

Feyenoord blocking our move for Hwang, sent by a Dutch mate... Great process Fulham. Under 7 hours to get all your business done you've had months already to do.

Inbeom Hwang also came up as a potential target for Fulham. The Feyenoord playmaker is currently struggling with a minor injury and will miss the South Korean international matches. Hwang has been with Feyenoord for less than a year, but when fit, he has proven to be a key player in midfield. Along with Luciano Valente, he should provide the creative spark. Feyenoord is loud and clear: Inbeom Hwang cannot leave. He is too important to the club and desperately needed for the coming weeks, when Feyenoord will be playing a dual schedule (league and Europa League).

Igor Julio weren't we linked with him before? Palace trying to sign from Brighton.

Really good deal, especially with a loan + option.

Would have been happy with that ourselves.

He is a holding midfielder, personally think we need a box to box player more

Can't wait for the last minute dross that we will get in as a desperate dash.

Would love to see us go in for Conor Gallagher
