Unfortunately his day is as rare as rocking horse crap.
He has all the attributes to be a world beater but maybe little or no football brain. Thank him for his time here and wish him well in his future life.

Quote from: Coastwalker on January 24, 2026, 08:54:27 PMJedi has just come back from a long time out, think some of you need to be  bit patient in trying to get rid of him.

The article anyway is just a rumour.
The strange thing in my opinion is he started back well for a few games and the more he's played the worse he's got. He's also pulled out of a couple of 50/50 tackles which has never happened before in his FFC career. If we got a decent offer (no chance from the hub cap stealers) we should take it.

Well FFC after Jedi's performance today Snap their hands off
As much as I do love Jedi, if we can get 45 (which I doubt) then thats pretty much his ceiling in terms of market value, and it will slowly go down in the coming years. We would be wise to sell

If we got 45m for AR I would take it. Sess is the better player and we can get a back up with lots change

Quote from: hopper on January 25, 2026, 12:42:51 AMPeople need to learn to ignore teamtalk tbh. They pump out pure nonsense day after day that somehow sticks and becomes part of the conversation.

Graeme Bailey is stealing a living. Basically nothing he reports ever happens or is based in reality. And they are the source for Liverpool being interested in £45m Robinson.

Precisely...Made up tosh.

Baleba and Van Hecke fantastic yesterday Brighton's recruitment outstanding.Van Hecke is
the player who nearly took Harry's head off when on loan at Blackburn he has come a long way since then.

Considering Marco was complaining at the closure of the summer window that we didn't bring in a midfielder, consider that we've now lost Lukic for another 5 weeks, where are all the links for midfielders?
Plenty of talk about Pepi and Bobb but nothing in the engine room, surely that needs to change over the next week.

Been linked to Arthur Atta but it's gone a bit quiet, agree CM is important.

If we sold AR this window you can pretty much kiss goodbye to Silva, Wilson, and the feel good factor /team spirit that has got us so many of these points recently.

It is a good fee, but the ramifications of selling in Jan aren't worth derailing our season IMO.

As for those who are saying we should sell because he played badly yesterday and a few times since he has come back from injury - when are you going to learn about permanently writing off players after a couple of dodgy games? Honestly this board sometimes.

I'm not advocating for selling him because he played badly. I'm advocating for selling him because £45m is a lot of money for the club and can get a really good replacement.

Trusty Steed

Or at least use the £45m to renovate those toilets.......

It's probably a very unpopular opinion, but Pepi rumour is my least favourite rumour since I started supporting Fulham(first Jokanovic season). I don't think he's the worst player we've been linked with, far from it, but when you take in to account the reported transfer fee, his current injury status and things like that it makes no sense whatsoever.

It seems like Muniz will be back from injury before him, so what's the point in having three strikers when we only play one? The fee is absolutely ridiculous too. I just don't see the point in getting him in now. In the summer, sure, as I think the fee won't be as inflated + we can let Raul leave (or keep Raul if he's happy being 3rd choice).

Are you seriously trying to suggest that a player would be sold without the consent of Marco Silva?
Absolutely no chance.

Every window is the same it's always last minute deals unless a Clubs situation is desperate ie West Ham.Its wrong I know but our Christmas/New Year run of form took the pressure and urgency away for us  to sign players immediately.

No I don't think that - and I don't think Silva would consent to him leaving in Jan given where we are. Hence I was saying IF we sold him then Silva would definitely follow him out the door in the summer, along with Wilson.

Some sales aren't just about the whether the fee alone is "good" - it's also what else is going on at the club at the time and the potential knock-on ramifications that sale could have. This particular sale at this particular time is simply not worth the money for the reasons I outlined.

Ethan Nwaneri scored a sublime solo goal yesterday. I don't think Arsenal will sell him, think they're making a massive mistake not giving him more gametime. He could become a world class footballer.

He's only 18 and they are ahead in the title race, top of the table in the Champions League and alive in both domestic cups. Think their decision making has been pretty good. Plus the entire point of loaning him to Marseille is to give him the gametime he needs to develop.

Massive mistake was probably the wrong wording you're right. But I think he's more than good enough to be playing in their first team already. Watch quite a lot of their games and I'm often left very unimpressed with their inability to break down low blocks or creatively/

I broadly agree. They're not particularly enjoyable to watch; I'd argue if they win the league they might be the most functional pragmatic champions for about 20 years. I think even Mourinho's Chelsea was more exciting, loathe as I am to admit it. They haven't figured out how to get Eze in the team and they do struggle against low blocks quite a bit.
