...thanks Papa, sorry to be a pain, but just to add colour would you put the words thank you in red, and could you reduce both Fulham badges by about 10% - yes I know, I am a slave driver.. :54:

I'll post up a few more in a minute.

'Fulham Legend' could obviously just as easily be 'Thank You' or some such, and it could easily be red as well.

Personally I think black and white, no text is the way to go. I'd probably go for the current badge also as it came in under Al Fayed.

...many thanks Papa, I will ask WhiteJC if he can separate all the suggestions given so far and individually number them so that we can have a poll.

Now all I need is volunteers to look after the banner/flag inside the ground on match days - and I suspect that will be the hardest thing to achieve.. :54:

...just to try something different could you, based on the bottom right flag have 3/4 white top half with the 2 badges and Mr Fayed in the midle, and the bottom 1/4 with Fulham Legend - thanks...

(This way it looks like our kit)

Papa

Absolutely no idea what you mean mate. Either way I'm off to meet people before the game now so if you explain I'll do it tomorrow along with some of the ideas from TIFF.

LRCN

if you want words, put 'we're not real madrid' something that only people connected to fulham would get. imo 'thank you' and 'fulham legend' sound a bit soppy.

I like that L.B., nice one.

However, I'm not sure we'll ever get everyone to agree on a specific design.
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

just an idea, but can we vote on it?,everyone's has put so much work into all the different types of banners we are not going to get everybody to agree so can we vote on it?

...I think we will revive this when everyone gets back from Turin, WhiteJC is looking at setting up a payment account that can be seen as clear and transparant as possible. Maybe he can set up a 'target thermometer' too.

In the meantime, as mentioned before there are other logistics that have to be sorted out:-

1) Payment - account set up

2) Size - how big a flag should it be to be clear what the design shows.

3) Storage - it is likely to be heavy (the 'We Are Fulham' one is (trust me) and needs to be stored in the ground.

4) Who collects it from the storage area/hand it out/collect it afterwards on match day - and who would deputise.
No Volunteers yet, without them we will have a lovely flag stored in the ground and never to see the light of day...

Also Papa did a selection on TiFF, but I cannot find them on the TiFF archive - if you still look in Papa can you put them on here and we will set up a poll of all the designs so far...

...how about this as an example? The vertical black & white looks too much like Newcastle Utd/Notts County, so I thought black and white in a horizantal format like our home kit...

Much as I admire the new designs I do think that a simple "Thank you" is suffice.

It's important to have the old and new logo as this emphasises how far we have progressed under Big Mom.

If we make it to the finals I'll up my original pledge to a tenner - if we win, I'll go to a score!

Not wishing to put a spoiler on it. What happens if Mo (due to an offer he can't refuse) sells the club? where does that leave you with the currant planned flag. He owns the club, Mr Roy manages the team, BZ scores the goals and we pay for tickets to watch it. Collectively we are all Fulham.
Would a simpler flag with the newer badge, which correct me if I'm wrong was instigated by Mo. Rolled across the Hammy end prior to kick off accompanied by the Chairman's song be the way to go?
As already said  it's going to be a tough job getting an agreement. Interested parties could put forward their own ideas and maybe a donation to the fund buys you a vote.

Great work LB in keeping this alive.

My only concern with this is it doesn't appear to be getting any closer to being finalised. With a European semi final coming up and then hopefully a final, it would be great to show our appreciation to him at a European final by enveiling the flag.

I'm not sure of the lead times for a flag of this size but we'd be cutting it fine to get it done now in time for the final would we not?

How about a paypal account being set up for donations and then 1 vote per donation on the design as other posters have suggested? At least it could be finalised and the work started on it so if we make the final, it could be unveiled then or at the Emirates time permitting.

What's your thoughts?

Peabody

Have to say well done LB and I dont envy you trying to please everyone. My suggestion for text would be "From Us To You - Thanks"

Papa

I'm going away for a long time without my computer very soon so if there's anything else you want me to do (extra designs etc) please let me know as soon as possible by PM.

As this doesn't look like becoming a reality by the end of this season, lets wait until the close season, get it done then ready for the start of the next campaign.

I appreciate everything costs money, but (especially if we are successful this Thursday) perhaps we could also include some of the clubs achievements under Mo on the flag, and those can be added to as time goes on (much smaller font than the other wording though)

Wouldn't half be nice if we could fasttrack one through for Hamburg!

I'd up me score to £40!
