Dench.... Leave it.....!

:plus one: , him and briggy might be bezzers

FFCfan

Lets hope he stays fit, put in some good performances and at the end of the season will see what will happen!

Ordar

Not a bad signing actually. Young and eager to play. Would be interesting to see what happens if the spell is successful. Would Wenger really not sign him to a new deal if he does well here, given Arsenals problems in mf?

I have a feeling that not taking a risk on giving him a deal will come back to bite us

Burt

Looks like an astute piece of business, and hopefully a good addition to the team. Time will tell, but certainly seems a positive move.

Lighthouse

7 pages on a player with a serious injury in the near past and on loan until the end of the season. I hope just because we have done no business of note so far we don't expect too much from this.

Good luck to him and hope he stays fit and boosts the squad.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Frimpong may be a good loan, but what we need is EXPERIENCE, CREATIVITY and LEADERSHIP in centre midfield ........ a player like that alongside Frimpong I think will work!

Good luck to the lad and he may well come good at Fulham but our need is immediate.

We have 15 games left to collect 15 vital points with a very tough home fixture list.
Surely we are not expecting this young lad with a couple of dodgy knees and only 5 premiership games with Wolves to step in and turn our team around.

Dench signing! ;)

i have no idea what that means :023:

Actually it sounds like I made this up but I didn't. Frimpong Iddle I Po part owns a shop that sells shirts and stuff for the yoof and printed on them is Dench which means cool as in Judy Dench is dench.

Now get with the bag man and truck on down to the latest sounds while the clock on the wall says its time to call. I is real dench man.

If you read the comments, I think it's clear that we're aware he's not the next Mousa Dembele. However, as we're 7th from bottom, why sound surprised that a signing that boosts our chances of survival is being welcomed? Let me reassure you, no one's expecting him to do it single-handedly.

decent signing, if we don't want to pay over the odds for players in January, making loan signings to get us through until the end of the season makes the most sense to me. Only thing i am a little confused with, is that frimpong is a defensive minded player, where i think we need more creativity than solidarity. we got sidwell, baird, diarra for that. But still its better than nothing and adds to the depth of the squad. who knows he might have that fight that we need at this moment in time. dont think anyone can really critisize this deal, maybe question it. overall decent singing

I think with Diarra injured the others are just not really up to the job in that position.  I think we have creativity in ruiz and berba but what we really need is a box to box type midfield player who can carry the ball directly at teams, and who will be able to link our creative players up, especially on the break;  A Gerrard type player but obviously someone who we would be able to attract.  McCarthy at Wigan is that type of player although they would not sell him to us.

One of the reasons I am so keen to see kasami given another chance is he is also that type of player.

This is good news! Have heard Frimpong is a great talent.

I hope the lad doesn't make a bad pass or a mistimed tackle during his loan spell. Imagine what stick Jol will get if he does!

Dont worry, if he turns out to be a dog, you can point out that Jol has nothing to do with transfer decisions.
Congratulations on 1000 posts, Don.

I believe you just short changed him of 9000 posts, EJL!
Oops. Zeroes getting the better of me.

Hmm, if he turns out to a dog? Difference is that if he does there are many that will be on Jol's back. We don't sign anyone it's Jol's fault. We do and he's not Messi, and it's Jol's fault. If he doesn't do well that's one of those things but I won't be saying it had nothing to do with Jol! See the difference ? Probably not.

A player like that alongside what we have would work.

Frimpong had better be a cover signing. Aside from additional depth and the possibility of signing him as a future replacement for one of our current midfielders, I don't see how his prospects are any different than they were for Kasami when he was signed. As I remember it, all were very excited to see Kasami come in and he's been able to add pretty much nothing.
