I would be interest to hear exactly why Bent chose to go to a club who are odds on to be relegated.
It could be that all the supposed interest was hype and the truth is that no one else wanted him.

How on earth can relegation favourites Palace prove more attractive to Bent than Fulham, can't see us getting anyone of real quality at this rate.

I was pretty patient over the signings but its becoming increasingly obvious the new guy is not going to be digging too deep in the pockets.

Well, they could've offered him a silly amount of money.

Regarding Le Fondre, he scored over twice as many Premier League goals last season as anybody on our team not named Berbatov.  He's also only 26.  We could do worse.  Not to say that he should be our first and only option, but signing him would hardly be a disaster.

Ok so we have lost Bent and Huddlestone in one day.... Perhaps we are looking at better targets than both of these..... Now the journalists will actually have to do some work and make up some new targets for us.... We have been linked with Huddlestone and Bent forever....

Even lots of Fulham fans fear we'll be bottom 3 which isn't a good sign bearing in mind we know our team better than most. We were really struggling 2nd half of last season & we haven't improved while teams around us have. We all know the areas we need to improve, as does Jol & the board but no sign of new players in the areas we desperately need. Therefore, we're rightly being tipped for relegation.
