Couldn't understand most of the lyrics but the Hearts anthem is very rousing.

Tell them to play nicely.

Btw, i originally misread testosterone as Toblerone..... what does that tell you?

Oh you lucky people a song created for the 1975 Cup Final should be updated and freshened up with new lyrics. Always loved that song being belted out during the run up to the 75 Final.

It tells me Mr Blingo,

that one is a Triangular Chocolate Bar.

The other plays a key role in the development of male reproductive tissues such as promoting secondary characteristics such as increased muscle and bone mass, and the growth of body hair.
It is associated with increased aggression, sex drive, dominance, courtship display, and a wide range of behavioural characteristics.
In addition, testosterone in both male and female is involved in health and well-being, where it has a significant effect on overall mood, cognition, social and sexual behaviour, metabolism and energy output, the cardiovascular system, and in the prevention of osteoporosis.
Insufficient levels of testosterone in men may lead to abnormalities including frailty, accumulation of adipose fat tissue within the body, anxiety and depression, sexual performance issues, and bone loss.

But the question I put to you Mr Blingo is which one does which.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

Quote from: john dempsey on May 07, 2026, 12:22:38 PMIt is a cover version,

What is? 'Come on Fulham' that's whispered from the HE.

Now wonder you need a 'singing section.'

Superfreeman seems to forget that Fulham fans say "we" when referring to our own fans, not "you" as he used above?!
Very bizarre.

Fulhamight

Another idea.....

How about reminding the kit designing team for next season, the following to the tune of

(Waiting for the) Ghost Train by Madness

The Riverside is calling
Our team is FFC
The Hammy End is rockin'
To the winning Fulham team

Oh, Oh, We're the team that play in black and white,
Oh, OOOh, We're the team that play in black and white,

We're black and white, don't try to hide it!,
We're black and white, dont try to hide it!

We're FFC, don't you deny it!

I noticed that as well.
Mind you, this whole thread is very bizarre!

I don't recall seeing the late great Amy Winehouse at the Cottage but who knows?

"Rehab"
They tried to make me go to Fulham, but I said "no, no, no"
Yes, I've been black, but when I come back, you'll know, know, know
I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine
He's tried to make me go to Fulham, but I won't go, go, go

Fulham FC oh mist rolling in from the Thames
Our desire is always to be here.
Oh Fulham FC....

Only joking but it does work well at the City ground!
Why "only joking" it's the best suggestion, by some distance, so far 👏🏻

This is not a new song for us.  I distinctly recall that this tune - with these lyrics - was sung regularly in the Hammersmith End back before our temporary exile at Loftus Road.

Surprised that no one seems to sing it anymore.
Wow! I attended those matches but must have forgotten that!

Quote from: JoeS on May 06, 2026, 06:29:50 PMFollowing on from another thread, what is our club anthem? Is it "can't take my eyes off you"? If so, should we play it before games? If memory serves, we tried it in circa 2014 during the run-in and it didn't work very well as not enough joined in/sang it at different paces vs the slow audio.

Not saying this is the only solution but it seems to work at other clubs in boosting atmosphere.

If not that song, any other ideas? Arsenal made one from scratch which like it, loathe it or cringe at it, seems to have worked for them.

Why are you starting up this subject again?? Don't you remember? The response was that no one knew the words to 'Can't take my eyes off you' so just ended up singing (well a few) 'We love you Fulham.'

Some members posted stuff like why not have a Matt Munro song?? Or Michael Jackson's 'Just beat it.'

Now I see someone has suggested stealing Forest's Mull of Kintire anthem. You can't have two clubs with the same anthem!

I did suggest Gala's 'Free From Desire,' but was sent a nasty, sarcastic response by one member asking me if I had been to the 2018 play off final because that's apparently the 'Mitrovic song.'

Yeah and? It doesn't mean it had to be restricted to only when he played. It can be sung now. It's a great tune.

The problem is, which I mentioned before, is that Fulham fans are too reserved which is why the club anthem idea won't get off the ground.

I'm confused...you're responding to the first post on this subject from over a week ago. How is that starting the subject again?

You're not the one who's confused. Poor SuperFreeman isn't quite the full shilling methinks.

I always thought that 'Dirty Water' by the Standells could be adapted to Craven Cottage, Fulham, and the Thames - not quite anthem, but could be a chant

Logicalman

The threads have now been merged, we can get back to discussing the anthem now.  ::wink::
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.
