According to Sky Sports it's between Klinsmann, Amorin and Dychy.

This is too stupid of a list to make up, so its either true or one of Skys sources is having a right laugh.

Dyche is as already mentioned a manager that is complete opposite of Marco and McKenna. So either our board either dont care or dont have a clue about squad building and playing styles, or either McKenna or Dyche is completely made up, "smokescreens" even, for whatever reason. Personally I find the first explanation to be more logical.

Amorim is the sane choice here, and if the list is in fact true then by god I hope we get Amorim. Out of those 3, it would be like getting Pep basically.

I just fear that his dogmatic view of his tactics is going to be his demise here. But maybe we can get a really good first season, similair to Brunos had previously and Ange at Spurs. But I do think you need a tactically smart manager in the league nowadays

Klinsmann is an absolute joke.

But hey, I wouldnt read too much into it. According to some on here, Fulham is keeping things under wraps and the real manager we are about to appoint is not yet known to the media.

The same Kieran McKenna who spent 100mil at Ipswich and got 22 points in the PL 2 seasons ago.

Not convinced and hoped we could do better. Expect to see us pay way over the odds for Liam delap if so.

And as already mentioned, his side was basically a League One side. The back bone of that team played in League One just a year before they got promoted to the prem.

They clearly gambled on young, overpriced, English players. Didnt pan out. Wouldnt hold it against McKenna too much to be fair. But his lack of Premier League football is deffo a weakness and something that makes him quite the gamble. And if we are going to gamble, there are other managers in Europe with more experience and just as exciting.

But £8m is nothing in today's game for the right manager. Compare that with the price of players and it pales into insignificance.

It's not drawn out at all, Marco was still under contract until end of June so no point in paying 2 managers wages, now MS is definitely going the club kno exactly where we stand and are now in the process of signing a replacement, if that candidate is still at s club then negotiation has to take place.
Give the club a chance ffs, Palace have known since Christmas and have only just selected their new boss

I was sorry to see Marco leave but it was clearly on the cards for months prior to his eventual exit.  I would have hoped in the circustances that we would move at very smart pace to appoint and annouce his successor.  Perhaps we will but it's looking less amd less likely and I find that terribly disappointing.

Man City too. We could of course pick a boss within three days and appoint him. But I'd prefer a bit of time taken. Nothing major is happening in the next two weeks what with the world cup beginning.

Mckenna would just be so so uninspiring - would imo signal a lack of ambition from the club. Why would we appoint a manager that's biggest achievement is two prem promotions and who this season finished second despite having the best squad in the league by some margin. The one season he did manage in the Prem he was relegated in April.

A lot here have a negative perception of Amorim after his United spell but he is someone who still divides United fan opinion and there's no denying before United got him he was a very highly rated manager. Most people sight him 'not playing wingers' which simply isn't true. This summer he signed Mbuemo and Cunha and played 523 (deploying them both as inside forwards) which I'd say Bobb and Kevin are more suited too than being traditional run down the wing and cross 'wingers'

It will be interesting to see who we do end up with and I am quietly hoping it will be someone we haven't been linked with yet that will pleasantly surprise our fans

He plays a good brand of footie. Is good at working with young techie players.

Hopefully we get Liam Delap over the summer too.

We could do a lot worse.

One season in Premier,with an average Ipswich side,who some of the big names would have struggled to keep them up.
