The Yanks (Millers) have bought Fosters. You can do what you like to Fosters - Australians don't drink it anyway - but don't you dare touch the other brands like Crown and Pure Blonde

They will be bought by the Belgians. There is no way we are going to give the Yanks a market for free!

Australians do drink Fosters! They're always on the stuff in Putney, and there's most Aussies in Putney than there are in Australia.

And Paul Hogan drinks it. He's the best Australian who ever lived.

Fosters...ugh.

When I was down under back in April my fave tipple was Speights. As I was in Auckland at the time I suspect it is a Kiwi brew, but very nice.

075.gif SAB Millers are London based= and Eq, if Australians drink Fosters in England there is a good reason for it

Less of your claptrap, you Belgians are to blame for us losing last night.  :014:

I agree. Also, I said to the Mrs. that Ruiz would miss, since he missed a very disputed penalty in Belgium once. It was 1-1 (Gent-Standard). Penalty for Gent in the 90th minute. If Gent scores, Anderlecht is champion. If it doesn't, then there are play-offs between Anderlecht and Standard. Ruiz kicks the penalty. Misses. Playoffs. Anderlecht loses, Standard is champion :)

But what I do not understand (to make this FR again) is that Zamora, who was the last player on the pitch, was the first to kick a penalty. You should expect the best goalscorer to kick the LAST penalty, when pressure is considerable.

I can't disagree with that Sippers, but Ruiz didn't miss his penalty. It did cross the line... I thought so at the time when I started cheering, and I think so even more now that I have seen a replay.

I don't think it crossed the line. It hit the line, but didn't cross it.

No room for Staropramen in there?

Shocking lack of taste on the part of the Great British Public.

Agree with you Mr Sipwell. However, how do you define the "LAST" penalty? I read a study that showed that the 4th penalty is statistically actually the one that decides the outcome of the majority of the shootouts. So in theory (if that analysis is correct, and I can't for the life of me remember where I read it. It might have been on UEFA), you should have the best penalty taker take the 4th, the second best the 1st, and the third best take the third.

I know. It is 4 am here in New York and I have way too much time on my hands.  :58:

Had some Palm beer t'other day. Good work from your lot Sippers.

Oh, and the penalty - I reckon the ball was touching the line. Sorry EQ, I think the ref got it right, unlike when he bottled giving us a second pen early doors in the second half.

How has Adnams not got into that? or London Pride? or is this a factual list and not one based on opinion?
