I can honestly see nobody significant coming in over the next couple of days.

The financial system in the club is a joke, I'm sorry but we need to move with the times and start paying players decent wages, and as already pointed out by many - the contract system is a complete p!ss take.

Nobody exciting will come in - we wont spend more then 4-5 million quid before friday night.

Were left with a squad of either very old players or kids for the next year

Sorry to say it but 2009 - 2012 will go down as the clubs golden years...

twang

Moussa Sissoko.

Will be interesting to see what happens during these last couple of days. I can't imagine that Jol/Mackintosh has gone through almost an entire transfer window without scouting possible replacements for Dempsey/Dembele as there is/was always an obvious possibility that they would be sold.

Moussa Sissoko.

Great shout. He seems Dembele-esque too in that he's 23, was linked with some big clubs before having a relatively poor year, will surely make it to a top European club at some point, plus he only has a year left on his contract.

Leroy Fer, to replace Moussa in the middle, stunning player on his day.

Edit: Haha, FFC1987 just beat me to it!

elgreenio

Strootman, Douglas, Berbatov and/or Chadli.

Hangeland signing a deal may cheer me up also.

Sissoko is a beast, would love to see him at Fulham. It's unlikely though.

How about nicking the spine of FC Twente with Fer, Chadli and Douglas....Ha

mikie

Our premiership stay is over. We only have the ambition of a league 1 club...

:plus one:

Would love this to happen and I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been linked anywhere besides Liverpool back in June.

Would Bendtner be a decent punt?

Linked with him at the bottom of that. He's only 24, doesn't seem to be that expensive, had an almost 1 in 3 goal scoring record at Sunderland, plus he's a good target man which is what we need as a plan b.
