He wants to come to England..

Currently no Premier league sides have bid for him, so he's set for either Werder or Fenerbahce.

Come on Jol, give the boy what he wants! Would be a very good addition to midfield.

sipwell

Probably not possible due to not enough games for Belgium, me thinks (he is outclassed there on midfield).
I do not know what to think of Vadis to be honest. He is hailed as a superb footballer but I have not really seen that. Mind you, at his age he was 'bossing' the midfield of Club Brugge (not that they won anything but still).

will jol ever think of the fans. where is the song from that name.......

He is called "Vadis" in Belgium so you'd manage that surely.
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

ffcbulgaria

this rule only applies for players coming from countries for which the english work-market is still restricted

What I don't understand is the medical was completed and personal terms agreed,
so why not sign and announce it  as  done deal. What's going on? Have we said sleep on it?

bulgariawhite

If we want him in the squad tomorrow he has to be registered in 1.5 hours. Jol was confident he would be!!!!!

My guess is that if he's signed then they wont feel obligated to announce it, whilst they may also try and buildup tension and announce him alongside more players... bigger impact, or the players that have signed today with him can bask in some of his limelight and feel like there moves/this club is even bigger then they thought!...

Hope you are right. I really don't like this tension, the fans deserve to know.
Dempsey to Villa I feel so sorry for him. Relegation fodder. Forgive and forget sign for us and be a legend.

Local Enschede paper TC Tubantia has confirmed that 19-year-old central midfielder Chris David has said goodbye to his teammates and is on his way to London for a medical with Fulham.

Unfortunately it is being reported that he is Levy's 'Plan B' midfield signing at spurs

Spurs would be able to offer european football, Capital One Cup!!! and much higher wages. Anyway, what we need is a top quality creative central midfield. If we get Bervatov, where does this put Ruiz or, for that matter the development of Trotta. Then, there's Hugo - and I wasn't impressed with him against sheff wed. Berbatov would have been a great signing i think, if we didn't have Ruiz (please don't tell me he be put out on the wing again!). I was impresses with Trotta last tues - he need opportunities to play in the first team. Where, exactly will Richardson be playing - I thought left back.

Berbatov and Ruiz could easily play in the same team, with Petric as backup for both positions. Remember, Petric is only on a one year deal, so we need options anyway.

Rodellega can play on the wing, in the hole or up front. A good forward utility man with pace who can be an impact sub.

From the sounds of it, Fulham are working on the new CM signings - Chris David from Twente and Vadis Odjidja from Club Brugge. 19 and 23 respectively - could be just what we need!

We could promise him 1st team football, at Tottenham he'd be 3rd/4th choice.

Also, by not announcing it but Berba training (assuming that he's signed the contract!) we could be leaving West Ham in Limbo, which tactically could give us a significant advantage.

We'd call him "Quo" for sure, then.

TWFL

So what is this Chris David like? His name rings a bell as well, weren't we linked a while back with him?

We have to announce the signing by 12 otherwise he can't play tomorrow. So I reckon expect to hear something very soon.

Doesn't have to be announced, the paper work just needs to be submitted. Which, in all likely hood, has probably already happened.
