I know you have a lot of suggestions but The Wire is possibly the best show ever made.

Ruddy hell don't care if I've already said it, but I just watched the finale of season three of Breaking bad. Holy moley that is some good stuff!, It's a must watch!!!!!!!!!!!  098.gif :yay: 098.gif
SPOILER: I felt so sorry for Gale. Harmless guy... little bit annoying, though
See I didn't really feel sorry for Gale as you said he was quite annoying, the thing that kind of shocked me was that Jesse actually went through with it and shot him. Considering that he up until that point always stated that he was not a killer. I mean he was only returning the favour to Walt so it made sense, but it was still quite shocking seeing him kill Gale at point blank range.
Foolish ham

No talk of Breaking Bad returning last night?

One of the top 3 shows ever made, maybe even number one if the last 7 episodes are as good as EP9

Carnivale

Now that sounds promising. :)
Depreession era travelling carnivale with a bit of a mean twist, without giving too much away.  It was one of my favourites of the bunch.

I am already at the 5th episode. It's just the type I like. Reminds me of Tween Peaks and Heroes somehow.

Saw it a few years back. Have you got to the Man Eating Chicken episode? No it's not a spoiler. Just made me laugh. Good series.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I saw all the episodes - very entertaining, too bad it was cancelled.
I am now watching "Under the Dome", it's based on the Steven King novel. It's not bad but it's not Breaking Bad. :)

Best new show: Banshee.  I've been thinking what one word sums it up best.  Dangerous.  I love that series.  My wife has taken to that new show about an enforcer, "Ray Donovan."  Anybody watching that one?

farfouille

I really like Banshee but I never knew why.  :58:

Did anyone watch Hannibal? Found it quite slow to begin with but it found its feet and the story arc of the first season all fell into place last couple of episodes.
If you like the films and books, everyweek there is a quote or scene from them fitted in.

Check out 'Copper', Irish cops in the 1860's policing the five points (Gangs of new york era). Hell on wheels, and Longmire.

It really was brilliant. Has set up the series nicely I think.

EJL

Breaking Bad was absolutely brilliant. Stayed up until 3 to download the episode immediately after it went online. Terrible idea to do so, but definitely worth it.

SPOILER: when the garage door closed!

Big Martin Jol

House was my favourite character on television - the series was brilliant throughout its eight year run. Often criticised for being formulaic with regards to the medical cases, but the writing and characterisation were always top notch.
Scott Parker is the greatest living Englishman.

JudgeBread

It certainly falls away in the later season but I am a big fan of the American Office.

The sixth series of The Mentalist will be on Channel 5 in a couple of months. A great show.

My favourite TV show right now Suits, a drama about Law with some funny parts in it, currently in season 3. Started watching Luther last night as well on Netflix. Enjoyed first episode.

Vinnieffc

For comedy, Father Ted - A Song For Europe is one of the funniest things I've ever seen - particularly when they're dreaming of their video. Our American friends probably wouldn't get the parody of the Eurovision Song Contest but hey-ho. Also love The Big Bang Theory. Genius.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it but the office is amazing
