3.5 mill for Ashkan. Not too bad a price if true.

If true then money talks as the standard of football out there is poor but wages are high anyway if he wants out then sell now  :028:

Diego Benaglio the Swiss Keeper has allegedly been seen somewhere in the area of the club and for this reason and this reason alone, he is about to sign for us. I am happy to cling to any rumour.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

really? He's captain of a decent Bundesliga side, why would he come to us?

A personal favourite of mine, he's a great keeper. But there's no way he's leaving Wolfsburg to come to us.

If he does, Magath is a magician.

According to two other press reports it's £5 million and another newspaper saying we are in pole position to sign Sane

Dejagah's Qatar Move
Tuesday 29 July 2014 15:00

The Club can confirm that Ashkan Dejagah has joined Al-Arabi on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The winger departs Fulham for Qatar following two years in South-West London, during which time he made 49 appearances and scored six goals – several of which were spectacular efforts in last season's battle against relegation.

Upon Dejagah's departure from the Club, Manager Felix Magath said: "Having spoken with Ashkan, we decided in the best interest of both Fulham and himself, that he would leave the Club. During his time with us, he made some good appearances and scored some memorable goals. However, we decided to part ways. It will always be our policy to have players who are committed to the Club and have a desire to work for the common goal.

"We wish him very much luck for the future at Al-Arabi."

Everyone at Fulham would like to thank Ashkan for his efforts during his time at the Club, and wish him the best throughout his career.

Shame about Maguire.... but we do seem to have an abundance of young centre backs. He would have been first choice alongside Hutchinson though.

The rumour about Lamine Sane the centre half from Bordeux continue to circulate.
Seems far-fetched.  Sane is going to leave his hometown club, where he's winning trophies (2013 Coupe de France) and qualifying for Europe to play in the second tier in England?  And, for that matter, from the Fulham perspective, we're going to sign a guy who doesn't speak English, barely a week before our season is going to start, after the past month has been spent building chemistry with the guys who are already here?

Do we get a full refund?  They sold us a defective product, there should be a full refund.

Anyone who fails to spell "Huddersfield" correctly would be wise to avoid pedantry.  :005:
