@JPW_NBCSports: Update for #FFC fans on Tim Ream: I'm told FA transferring his visa sponsorship from Bolton to Fulham. Slight hold up with paperwork. #USMNT

You couldn't make it up, you really couldn't..

What? It's a standard procedure. Any excuse to slag Fulham off though, eh.

Oh here we go, another one that has to jump down your neck with a "Any excuse to slag Fulham off" quote. You're all getting boring now, you're as bad, if not worse, than the negative brigade.

These defensive issues should have been sorted out weeks/months ago, not dicking around 3 games into the season getting paperwork sorted out, standard procedure or not.

It's not exactly unusual for deals to be completed in the last few days or even hours of the transfer window. We don't know the full story behind any of our transfer targets, but I don't think you can blame Fulham for not sorting out "these defensive issues" weeks or months ago. If the selling club isn't willing to complete the deal until the last possible moment in case another club comes in with a better offer, how can you expect Fulham to get permission to transfer his visa over to them until the deal is actually done?

Yeah Richardson really was the ultimate sick-note for us. Such a shame as he was/is a talented player.

I agree, if fit, he'd be a decent player in this league.

Big Phil Senderos anyone?

Yes for me (I am biased). Like Kasami you cannot fault his commitment. Still has the odd mistake in him, but probably good enough for the Championship.

Without getting optimistic.

Brighton have agreed fee with Shrewsbury Town for Connor Goldson.

Could be the Dunk replacement especially as they just bought a German centre back too.

Seems pretty clear that Dunk is headed for the exit, my only concern is that he'll go somewhere other than here...

Fingers crossed he'll be starting for us at the weekend.
Probably the ha has after we stole Ream - Now that would really hurt!

Don't forget Mackintosh, he shouldn't be allowed to get away with anything either.

Stop it, these short quips are in danger of making me laugh.  I come on this forum to feed my depression.

The centre-back, 27, has arrived at the Championship club's Motspur Park headquarters for a medical and Ream's Fulham transfer should be completed in the next 24 hours.

Ordar

I feel like he's been "24 hours from" signing for about a week now

And don't get me started on Dunk...

Just seen this on the Brighton forum, thought there might be some news

"Lewis Dunk latest

The fact we could be buying Conor Goldson suggests that we could be selling Dunk what do you guys think "

Those 2 were fit when they came here. I think Johnson may have been but Mitro was crocked.

I was just talking to a friend who told me someone he knows who works at the Brighton training ground has said Dunk's coming to us. But that may have been before Saturday's game!

According to yesterday's Argus newspaper Brighton have rejected Fulham's £5 million new offer for Dunk but could be fighting a losing battle to keep hold of him in the face of persistent interest from Fulham and possibly Newcastle

Gazza on TFI says Khan is reluctant to release funds. That is that then, if true.

What is Khan's game?

From day 1 I've asked this, still have no idea. There is little cash to be made by an owner outside the PL so why anyone who isn't a fan  of football or the club buys a team without the intent to take it to another level (which usually involves spending) in my eyes is viewed as suspicious.

Recent transfer activity would suggest that 110% accurate!

So he lied when he said he'd do "whatever it takes" to get us promoted.
