Was thinking the same. Gone quiet on Stearman, Wolves announced fee agreed player to sort terms. Was reported Kone was in London this morning, something definitely not quite right with all this. Much prefer Stearman

This Kone situation is really worrying...

Even if it's not a done-deal, the threat of litigation might put the club off spending on new players in case they are forced into the deal.

It's also probably doing Kone's confidence no good to have two clubs fighting NOT to sign him.

Hopefully the club put out a statement to let us know their side...

Not sure Kone deal should bother us. We can continue with whatever deals we were doing. No embargo can come into effect in the last few hours. In the end it really comes down to who signed what and when.

So, If I am reading correctly, we are linked with (3) more CBs...and around 2-3 strikers?  Good problem to have I guess.  We go from a terrible defense to a very crowded central defense.  Still not sure Jazz is a long term answer and would love to somehow figure out how we get a perm deal for husband.  Husband looks to be the real deal.  He could be the long term solution for that position. 

Who starts if we sign both Kone and Stearman?  Stearman and Ream?

The club should make a statement re Kone as LYon seem to be dissing us a lot on this.

I do not  think it will stop us signing the player / players we want at all, seems any striker will be a loan as that's what we want for Gayle or Hooper, so 4/4.5 million in total for Stearman and Mancienne should not be an issue

Can't read french, but hear that Lyon are more than confident about the Kone transfer going through; their president sats the case is more than iron-clad, as there's a completely signed agreement by all parties.

Doesn't sound good.
