Athanasios Petsos close to joining Fulham
Athanasios Petsos is set to leave Werder Bremen for Championship side Fulham, with just the final details to be ironed out, according to Sky Deutschland's Jurek Rohrberg.

The 25-year-old arrived in Bremen just last summer on a free transfer, and has played just three Bundesliga games since his arrival.

it always feels like we are the only club in the world, to get rid of players, before we even start thinking about getting in replacements. Even slavisa had a dig about how slow we are at doing anything the other day. Meanwhile we have already dropped 5 points this month

I know nothing about the player, but from what I've found he's a defensive midfielder that's also able to play in central defence or at right back. To me it sounds like we have backed out of the Bitton and Cisse deals and settled for our third choice for McDonald's understudy.
