Maybe this opens the door to us getting the Celtic  midfielder we were linked with last week.

Let's hope so, It's time we had a door open up for us, as long as it's not a trap door.

Harry Maguire 6' 4", would be an ideal fit for Fulham, as would Ayala 6' 3", not sure about Heaurteux as he is about 6 ft or so tall. We need a big solid unit in the centre of our defence.

Would not have David Davis and I dont think there is anything in that rumour either, Hard worker but does not fit a team that wants to keep the ball. Doubt Zola will be fighting too hard to keep him for this reason.

Ayala update- from Graeme Bailey the journalist.     Fulham asked about Daniel Ayala - Middlesbrough won't loan.
Shame. He was best CB in the league last year. IMO.

I have been suggesting him as target for us for months.
At least he didn't go to Brentford as as muted earlier in the week.
