Fulham no.1 transfer deal needs to be done urgently - WAKE UP or lose Carvalho!

Whoever is in charge of Fulham's transfer dealings must act now or we shall regret this opportunity for years to come. Fabio Carvalho has already shown what an outstanding talent he is at the ripe age of 18, yet the club are in talks with future opponents of the club in allowing Liverpool to pinch him for a mere £5million.

Does Tony Khan actually need £5million? After the debacle when we were last promoted and promises were made that this would not happen again, it is happening again under our very noses.

Fulham should offer Calvalho and his agent SILLY MONEY to force the deal through. We have one day to finalize this procreation or we shall be forced to squander one of the best transfer discoveries this club has ever accomplished.

Whilst I would love him to stay, no player is bigger than the club and if he wants to go as is being reported we would be left with a player not committed.

He's a goner, you don't turn down Liverpool if you're Fab I'm afraid.

Why would Silva state on Friday that he wasn't  going anywhere in this window....Surely he must know what's happening,if not and he goes the manager might look a fool for giving out that statement  on Friday, and he's far from a fool,so we will see.

Not if Fab's turned around today and said he wants to go? If so really poor from him.

Really poor from him if true. It looks more like Liverpool forcing it though.

Do you not think the Club has already tried to get Fab to sign a new contract. There are limitations as to how much they can put on the table and it would appear that he is unwilling to sign.
All we can do is keep him for the rest of the season and see if he will sign in the summer.

Well if it's a loan back until the end of this season technically Marco is right...?

H4usuallysitting

Isn't he staying until the end of the season - if we get promoted he'll sign a new deal?

It looks like he'll be gone in the next 24 hours, which is a real pisser considering the season he's having. I just hope he doesn't lose his motivation knowing he'll be off to Livarpool at the end of the season!

If the loan back rumor is true, then he's going nowhere for the season, but he will be off to Liverpool in the summer. Coy if true.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Not really as he also said if you read it,we hope to get it sorted out in the Summer and he stays at the club...
Did he say club he loves?

LC

I saw Neco Williams the Liverpool right back is available on loan, I wonder if he would be a part of any deal.

The manager has said he's staying until then end of the season, a manager doesn't say that this late on in the window if that was not the case.

Caedal

Assuming he's told the club he isn't going to sign a new deal, there's 2 logical reasons he's being sold with 6 month loan back.
1) we're selling with a sell on % as part of the deal. Obviously then what we're overall selling him for could end up being significantly more
2) specifically selling to Liverpool is probably a ffp relief on the Harry Wilson transfer. As we know the Harvey Elliot tribunal fee was also offset on his transfer fee, and the rest not due until the end of the season maybe doing this helps in some way accounting wise

You can't force players to sign a new contract, nor can you force them to stay.
No player, no matter who they are, will turn down the opportunity to play for a Premier League title contender and a club playing in the champions league. Fabs wages are probably enough so he'll never have to work again. And, if I'm honest, he'll have more of a chance to play in the first team at Liverpool, than he would at one of the other big clubs.

Fulham FC will still be here whatever Fab does.

Nick Bateman

Harry Wilson chose Fulham's first team over Liverpool's bench. If Carvalho thinks it's more glamourous cleaning Jordan Henerson's boots and brining on the oranges in training in-between bench-warming at Anfield, then he is sorely deluded.

Liverpool have previous to this. They gazzumped us over young Harvey Elliott with a dubious panel awarding him to Liverpool from a mere £1.2million. And what has happened to him??

He got injured turning in some cracking performances for the Liverpool first team.

No need to let inconvenient facts get in the way of a good rant. Carry on ranting, Nick, you have created a very entertaining and a very well crafted character.
Any fool can criticise, condemn and complain, and most fools do.
