Some absolute misery-gogs on ere sometimes honestly :slap: . Turning a heartwarming positive news story into an opportunity to moan about something so asinine, being called out and turning to digs about my personal working situation, which was relevant to the topic and stated purely in relation to the context of this specific situation.

Nothing new

When someone tries baiting me or challenging me on why I think what I do, showing little genuine insight into why then, yes, every now and then I'm going to explain myself in the same tone someone tried to address me.

If responding to someone who didn't need to say anything, but decided to open up in a combatative way, by simply explaining myself or responding to them makes you think I am what you say I am, then it's something I have no issue in acknowledging and brushing off.

This, ironically, doesn't make me arrogant, big headed or a t**t in and of itself. There are loads of things, good and bad it could portray.. how its portrayed is dependent completely on how someone else perceives it (and more interestingly to me, why)..

Other factors that play into how someone's perceived are context, and how well you know someone, vs the way they say it.

For me, responding to someone who tries to bait you, in the way I have is just fair and in response to the LB question/challenge a simple response explaining my reasoning, which I think again is simple and I didn't need to do, but is opinion based and to a degree fair and logical.

Now, whether it's a consistent issue or not would defer to the persons true personality and for the most part their insecurities.

Lol. Kids stuff. Cute though. You were part of the misery and brought it up and now you're trying to join the cool corner and disassociate yourself. Have some integrity.

You aren't a victim pal, You literally started the baiting, beggars belief that this is how you see it. YOU led with an inflammatory statement and toxicity and then got touchy when someone responded to you calling out the behaviour. YOU posted an inflammatory and assumptive statement on a public forum. But you're being baited?

Wild.
And still trying to take personal attacks and calling people insecure for bringing up something relevant to the topic to demonstrate the point. I too could dive into picking apart the mentality and stimulus of one as negative and deriding of someone they don't know, but I'm trying to keep things on topic here.

Probably, what I found odd is that the photo of the signing was with Shahid and its clear shahid is present at the club during the transfer window, meanwhile TK is posting about wrestling, yet despite the impression Shahid is nearby and his son isn't even paying proper attention, the club still quotes Tony when we sign someone.. like why can't we just quote Shahid if he's in the room when Ryan signs... he's the real owner.

It's like Shahid is doing the work and Tony is the spoilt kid with a play thing taking the credit and trying to look good despite not doing anything.

Here we go again  :slap:

Because remote meetings and phones are a thing in 2024. Ive worked successfully in a management positions for a company in another country for 2 years... I've literally never been there and am in contact with them daily. I also work in 2 other businesses effectively, one of which is my own.
It isn't always necessary.

If you have a laptop and a phone, You dont need to be in London to assist in identifying players, discussing business decisions and lead a general transfer strategy alongside a scouting/stat department and manager in 2024. My ceo works effectively between a couple different companies as many do.

Tony gets some credit because hes actively head of transfer matters still, just because he doesnt live stream every fulham meeting with you or isnt in london to shake Sess hand doesn't mean he does f all does it. Its been stated in tons of interviews with the athletic and nytimes etc what his involvement is, in detail thats never been refuted by our managers.

We know at this point from interviews with managers and himself what the system is here, but hey, lets ignore all that because we would rather "feel" its something other than has been stated over and over in reputable publications and club material just because. Ill never get this burning urge to deride someone with zero internal knowledge countering what's been stated is the set up at fulham.

Shahids an international businessman running multiple projects too, When shahids in town, hes likely also doing multiple things, one of which will no doubt be checking in on the new stand as its supposed to open in December, taking meetings in london, he also is working always on the Jags amd NFLs presence in the UK. Hes not just flown out because of the transfer window so he can shake Sess hand. They both take trips to london intermittently around their schedules and needs, this time its shahid there. No need to frame it to fit a hateful narrative

No disrespect, but you're an employee. They're the owners. And everything you said is just as apt for Shahid Khan as it is for Tony.. yet here we are with Shahid in the UK and Tony not.. and guess what.. most of our transfer targets seem to be UK based..

Souza, Mctominay, Chalobah, Sessegnon, ESR..

But thanks for sharing you work and have access to technology and explaining the cery basic similarities of international business with someone whos done the exact same. Lol.

I'm sure that's useful to your bosses who are charging you out at a rate higher than you're being paid, so they and potentially your shareholders can benefit, whilst your insecurity sees you mansplain self evident things on a football forum.

So, why can't Shahid who was clearly involved and present at Sessegnons homecoming say anything about it?

P.s. - just to prevent you from creating additional meaning when it wasn't implied - perhaps you're a creative. I never alluded to/touched on or didn't suggest international travel wasn't a thing for business owners who may have multiple business interests.

Yawn.

1. Tony is not the owner. He is an employee.
2. Sometimes Tony is here and Shahid isn't - already made this point about them being here intermittently around their schedules. No kick off when Tonys here on his own moaning about Shahid focussing on building infrastructure in Florida or car part factories though.
3. No idea what some* of the reported targets being English has to do with anything  ( we've also been rumoured to be in for lots of players outside of England from andre/bove/silva/oosterwolde/morato etc etc but I guess we're just ignoring those in favour of creating a narrative that being here is)
4. Making it personal about my working situation with no understanding of my schedule and commitments -  yup that's in character with the rest of the posting. Focus on snidey personal attacks about me personally whilst making assumptions about my set up that you have no knowledge of, rather than effectively rebuking the points made. At least you're consistent.
5. Why does it matter if Shahid specifically says something or not in the article, who cares? Why is this an issue? I didn't even notice he didn't because its such a non issue. He was on site at the time and so got to greet Sess and take photos, so did his bit, cool. Tonys department is working on transfer strategy with he rest of the team -  so he commented on his department. He will have been involved in the process of all incomings so why not comment? He comments, Dad takes a nice PR snap -on we go... Why does it have to be dragged into something extra.

Yawn indeed.

How to say everything and nothing all at once.

Lol. So much of what you say in this shows you tripping up on yourself or showing a lack of basic considerations that it's not even worth debating it point by point. Has proven a point though, so thank you.

P.s. yes, with you I acknowledge my tolerance isn't there. Why should it be. You're not exactly being a Saint. Pot kettle etc.

Lighthouse

Robinson has had an operation should we forget. He may not be match fit so naturally it makes sense to have a player like Sess available. Who can play either attacking up the wing or as full back.

Is it a gamble. Life is a gamble. We throw the die and end up with pure luck as a signifier of the future. We only know one constant. None of us want to dwell too long on it.

Where was I going with this? Who knows but football is supposed to be fun. Let's not make it too much of an uphill slog the talk to each other.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Good thing when someone replies to them it locks in what you say each time.

Commenting on this so people can see the differences (should they actually care in fairness, which many won't)..

I would say much the same to be honest.

Woke? Sorry what? Wrong. And a random personal attack,  again. Endless assumptions that aren't the case, I couldn't be further from "woke".

You feel this way because I have, admittedly, frequently responded to the history of instigated toxicity on here ,calling it out as it happens. It's 99% of the time a response to reading the endless toxicity, not coming on seeking it. Acting like the responder is the issue is textbook gaslighting.

Anyway , if you wish to discuss this further feel free to DM me rather than us clog up this channel further.
others who I've disagreed with before have managed to do so and it's made for a more pleasant environment eventually as a result. Rather than continuing to throw insults that arent necessary in here, where I'm still just trying to make this about whats said, and not go at you personally.

Turning a heartwarming positive news story into an opportunity to moan about something so asinine, being called out and turning to digs about my personal working situation, which was relevant to the topic and stated purely in relation to the context of this specific situation.

Nothing new

Lol. Kids stuff. Cute though. You were part of the misery and brought it up and now you're trying to join the cool corner and disassociate yourself. Have some integrity.

Living on another planet.

Timeline:

You: Made inflammatory post making a new negative and deriding point based in assumption no one was talking about.
People: responded disagreeing explaining why and expressing their bemusement as to why one would make this assumption
You: Personal insults
People: You're not very nice
You: I was baited and have some more personal digs

:slap: I do love a good marketer.

Wrong again.
And unnecessarily rude as ever. The thread doesn't lie.

Have a good one.

You're *missing the point*

Stop being such a woke and sensitive individual.

P.s. yes, with you I acknowledge my tolerance isn't there. Why should it be. You're not exactly being a Saint. Pot kettle etc.

Would love you to explain how these things aren't related.

Also, would love to understand the second bit..

If you prefer talking to people via DM and think it's more civilised, then why are you publicly doing this stuff?

Surely with them getting a replacement in this isn't the case. The never ending saga.
this I would be surprised if it happens.if it does then great,ESR a RCB Willian re signing I will be happy.

We need a DM and maybe even another CM. It's one of our weakest areas on the pitch now alongside LB and RCB. You can't lose Palhinha and expect us to do better. Even if Lukic has a good season you're struggling to find a decent partner for him and if one gets injured then you're severely lacking/found wanting in an area and league you simply can't be.

It's clear we're going for a DM in andré or mctominay and others being mooted.

How do you figure that LB is weak? We have one of the best LBs in the league, and then Sess, Castagne, Ream and Bassey that can play there.

Ream is ageing and rumours of going to the U.S, he's not versatile enough to play LB in a back four - realise this is an opinion... lol.

Sessegnon has genuinely not played a game in a year and a half or longer and is a long term injury concern. He may be fit now, and I hope he stays fit and thrives, but it's acknowledging that there's a chance he simply may not be fit this season. I also see him more as a LW than LB, though acknowledge he can play both IF fit. That's a big if based on a large chunk of his last 4 or so years as a professional. Look up his injury record vs playing time on transfrmrkt.

Bassey may well be a decent option at LB, but I don't think Ream is as solid and I think he's at the end of his career. In an ideal situation Bassey us for me our starting LCB.. which means he's not playing two positions at once.. unless Marco reverts to a back three. Which he is unlikely to do. In that case then, he's not an option.

Leaving just Robinson as a reliable LB option and a very good one at that.

So, if Robinson gets injured and Sessegnon maintains his injury record, which is a legitimate concern and risk, then we have very little long term options there.

Marco likes versatile players, which is great.. and we'll do well with that.. and it could make the Sessegnon and ESR signings make a lot of sense..

But for me, it makes sense to get in another LB.

Lot of sense in this post.

fairly simple - I didn't and don't come in here to make what could just be heartwarming and enjoyable transfer news about something mean-spirited , negative and personal. I responded to something I didn't agree with. Then it's become a whole other thing.

P.s I see you just edited this, not that it matters...

The gaslighting is unreal.

The post responding to you addressed the point you were making - you've since made it into a personal matter and with a swathe of wrong assumptions and personal digs to the point where we've lost entirely sight of what was actually the point on the table.

At which point I've told you to take it to DM messages if you really have to do this...as it's no longer remotely about what this thread is meant to be for and I'm aware people wont want to read this. I will now stop responding so do ya worst here if you really must.
