He's got barely any followers but I have just translated all of the comments (yeah I'm that desperate)! Sounds like he is at a Fluminese BBQ and some guy call Marcio has confirmed it. Who the F is Marcio?!  Another comment suggested if Marcio said it they it must be true.

Considering Fluminese was posting Andre on their social media a few hours ago I doubt it but nothing surprises me with this one anymore.

I'll join you on the wine too..  ::wine::  :slap:

Just imagine - get Andre for LESS than we were willing to pay, that'd be some negotiation  - 20m euros

I'm sceptical though sadly as it says we'd only get 80% of the players rights, which just isn't really a done thing and definitely not a Fulham thing.

Fun though, now i've embraced the madness and ridiculousness of this whole saga.

He's saying it is 20 million euros and the 10 million in potential bonuses. That and a 20% sell on is the kind of deal that would actually make sense potentially for all parties.

However...as I say why would they be posting him today training on their social media and one journo says it to another journo at a BBQ seems ridiculously unlikely.

Whatever we all think of him someone asked Jacque Talbots thoughts and his response is this:

If Fulham have reached out to Fluminense, then the agent, made a bid, agreed terms with club over clauses & structure, had it leaked to a journalist, who then told his YouTuber mate at BBQ, all without it going to any reputable 🇧🇷 reporter in the space of six hours, then yes

To be fair to him he's probably right on this one

TO be fair, if it's true that we've agreed to drop the fee by £5m and up the add on's by £5m, I guess it's no net change to the overall figure and maybe placates Flu as they're getting the overall figure they were after, albeit there's no guarantee of those sums, and if they get them then fair play everyone's a winner

He better be good after all this!  ::tongue::

Yea I mean there's some serious debates on this topic on here but at the end of the day it certainly lives up to it's silly season title. All great stuff and it keeps me checking back every 10 mins.

Interestingly even if it is complete BS imost of their fans reactions to this seem to think it is a great deal. They all recognise that Fulham will probably move him on at some point and they feel he'll go to a champions league club for a massive fee. If their fans are so sold on it maybe we should propose it if not true.

Well we all knew it was 99.9% sure BS but it was fun while it lasted I suppose. He makes a good point even if we don't trust him:

Know what it's like to get your head in a twist in sagas #ffc, but would just say, it doesn't even have to be me, but people like Nizaar, Jacobs, Andrade, etc, people who have been reliable on this from the start, just keep our eye on them and ignore the rest - it's just noise.

Although he's right really not liking this Talbot right now for continually urinating on my bonfire.  ::angry::

Quote from: Rightwhite on August 03, 2024, 10:03:18 PMLol. So we've gone from Andre as good as done, to Andre deal as good as dead, to Andre now being a FFC player. And all in one day lol. You can't make it up. All part of the fun though.

We could almost start counting the circles this transfer goes in from being on his way, to not, and then betting on how many times we'll go around in them before anything final is decided/agreed or not.

Perhaps we should just petition/pester the journalist who informed us accurately about what was going on with Muniz's transfer to find out the latest with Andre and just have him as our go to guy in Brazil...

In other news, Tosin has started life off at Chelsea well...

https://twitter.com/NizaarKinsella/status/1819851447661404609

In my humble opinion, and it is just that, he always had an air about him which made me think he thought he was better than he actually was. Got him a move to Chelsea, but he'll have to get a lot better to play for them and keep his place.

Never warmed to him, given he ran down his contract while we played him to try convince him to stay, only for him to leave on a free to chelsea of all teams.... Its petty, but I wont not enjoy seeing him balls it up there. Especially if diop or a new rcb thrives.

SuffolkWhite

Not sure Tosin is that bothered about first team football, but he will be very happy with his big contract!

Just feel he is about the dosh rather than the football.
Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Somerset Fulham

At what point do we just give up on this bloke, if we haven't already?

I am starting to really struggle with this one.

OZ-WHITE

The other factor at play here is that if Sessegnon is on the bench he can cover Left Back , Left Wing and if needed can cover left Defensive Midfield as well , if McTominay comes in and Lukic is the starting left Defensive Midfield and McTominay is the starting right Defensive Midfield and Reed and Sessegnon are on the bench - do we actually need Andre ?
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin
