If we were lucky we will have got about £12 million with 20% going to manu.

Quote from: Rambler on August 29, 2025, 06:14:53 PMWe need to just f****** get on with it now. Pissing around haggling about loan fee structure for chukuweze and 3 mil here or there for Kevin is becoming a bit pathetic.

I don't think any of us fans are justified in being pissed off until the window closes. They're just doing their job in trying to negotiate the best price. It's not our money.

Or they could just be pulling the wool over our eyes.🐏

Lecomte must be pretty chuffed about the 350+ page thread about his move.

Isn't it 20% on the 'profit'??
Could be wrong... ?

That's moot because last I saw it was for €10m which is basically what we paid for him so there's no profit, or very little.

If he's going, we must have a replacement.

If we don't it's not the end of the world, he's effectively been replaced by King. But what we do need really, really badly is a LW.

How do they work out 20% of the difference between two undisclosed sums?

Chukwueze was an unused substitute for Milan this evening who won 0-2 away to Lecce

They also chose to bring on a youngster as a winger over him, which felt quite pointed too

Quote from: Andrew on August 29, 2025, 09:14:02 PMIt is their money and they can choose to spend it as they wish. I have no problem with that at all.

But there is always a BUT

And this is it. It's my club because I have supported for so many seasons (more than most). What I think is the owner should be honest with us and rather than talk about their ambition for the club, explain to us exactly what that looks like. They take our money and have a glossy venere at season ticket renewal time, they send a questionnaire asking how to improve the atmosphere (and by the way I know the answer to that and it is a) turn down the pa so we can talk to each other and create an atmosphere before the game without being drowned out and b) improve the squad letting us be more competitive).

They have ramped up the prices in recent years and I would have hoped we would have seen some proper action by now bringing players in. I am not optimisistic for the next few days of the window, thyey play Russian roulette by woiting so long. I feel sure Marco feels let down and will not re-sign his contract, he is ambitious.
Nail on the head. It's not our "money" in the literal sense, but we are emotionally invested and there is only one Fulham.

Betis issued a statement saying they can't afford the transfer fee Utd are demanding nor the player's wages.

The offer they did make that they've subsequently withdrawn must have been for a sum lower than Utd will accept.

How the hell did that translate to Man Utd saying a deal was agreed.

Utd are an absolute shambles

Allegedly accepted 25m so presumably at this stage might even consider something less. Would need to take a wage cut though, as he was reportedly going to at betis
