There's no way he would come here to be #3 so this will only happen if Muniz leaves.

Make it happen Fulham

A goal every 300 mins in the prem. last season every 500 mins. Even in Italy only every 200 mins.

Muniz a goal every 150 mins in the prem and every 119 mins last season.

After sell on for Muniz, Hojland would prob cost at least as much if not more than the incoming.

Could Marco get more out of him? Maybe but not even brilliant at holding up play to fit our system.

Make it make sense why so many fans think this is a good idea as I m completely lost?

Doubt he'd want to come anyway as for some god for saken reason he will think he's 10x better than us...thank god. 😂

The service and team were totally disfunctional at Utd, Muniz has only proved that rate because limited games, he hasnt played the season because he has been dropped for being inconsistant. Hojlund looks the better player for sure, add in good service and we have a good player

sunburywhite

Kevin not in the side or on the bench for their game tonight
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Muniz hasn't proved he can do it consistently agreed. But a guy who scored a goal a 500 mins in the prem (about the worst strike rate for strikers in the entire league) for £40m or whatever United want is madness. He had Bruno Fernandes one of the most creative players in the league supplying him. Yeah Man U are an absolute poo show but he's shown literally nothing to warrant paying anything for him.

Could Marco somehow get a tune out of him at a lower level? God only knows but unless it's a loan for a year with an option we shouldn't go anywhere near this in my opinion.

As I say can't see any world where he'd agree to come anyway as he's adamant he's good enough to fight for his place at United.

This whole thing is absurd to me. If all Muniz goals were tap ins from great service sure, but that's not even the case.

Why some so blindly don't see the good, but find a way to say Hojlund somehow is, beats me. Hojlund may well go on to improve but he's often totally invisible. Some real bias at work here I don't get.

As for inconsistent, is that even true? Stats say no.

Drewry66

Completely agree Hopper. Just seems crazy. With consistently I only meant starting and playing a lot of games doing it and he's not been given the chance for that. When he has played he's been incredibly consistent as the mins per goals show. Just be great to have him another season, play him more and see if he can turn that into 15 to 20 goals.

If it's a choice between keeping him and trying to sell him in a year or frigging Hojland just keep him, hope he does convert when starting all the time and we then sell him for £50+ million next year anyway if he won't sign a new contract. Certainly doesn't look like he's kicked his toys out the pram so just keep I say.

I'm sorry....what now??!!

What t f are these prices about?
42.5m for ouattara? Geezer scored less goals (7) in the prem in over double the minutes Rodrigo had.

Then yes, absolutely nothing less than 50m for Muniz. Madness

No way haha, that price is genuinely crazy.
That and 10m for Nathan Broadhead today are the two strangest fees I've ever seen
Maybe other than last year when Newcastle bought Forest back up keeper for 24m for him to not make a single appearance

See. Everyone's doing it. Got to be sure when we spend 40 mil on Kevin that he's not a dud. But this window a lot of money has flown around for a lot of crap. Mostly Chelsea doing great deals for their reserves (broja, KDH etc)

Kevin with champions league pedigree is looking an absolute steal all of a sudden at £43 odd million compared to these absolutely mental deals. Never say this as understand what we are up against financially but reckon we've just got to pay it to get him over the line.

And yeah if Ouattarra is worth that £50m absolute minimum for Muniz but as I said if he's not kicking off (looks happy as Larry in everything I've seen) just keep him no matter what is offered at this point and sell next year.

ffc73

Forest splashing more cash too on Hutchinson & McAtee.

Our strategy is to be the only solvent club left when all the others go bankrupt & we win the league as last club standing.

I actually like the idea of this tbh.

So many players leave utd and do better with something to prove in a less pressured environment, still young. No idea validity of source though

He would score bags of goal with our system. Marco would get him back to the top of his game.
Sadly I doubt he would be interested in FFC

Drewry66

Khans in town for wrestling this weekend. Marco's gonna Rock bottom Tony and then people's elbow him repeatedly until he makes some signings so we'll be all good by Monday.  ::bump::

Being objective / unbiased ...

Transfermarkt values Ouatarra at EUR 28m, Muniz at 20m (ok they're never accurate but a good tool for comparisons)

11 goal contributions last year versus 9 for Muniz, and Ouatarra a year younger

So Muniz £35m and Ouatarra £42.5m would probably be about right

Ah yes and josh king is worth 1m according to transfermarkt. Should be roughly zero credence given to that price as some useful referance point for true market valuation, it's based off random "transfermarkt members"  random evaluations - whoever they are.

Your bias is to paint Muniz as not that good 🤣 (Woodrow mk 2)

Muniz key stats > random website valuation made by god knows who based on god knows what.
