Is it too much to dream?
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Dreamland.

And I'll reverse my ban on half & half scarves if we do qualify (unless of course we're playing an English team).

1 game at a time, beat manure and let's see what happens then

Far from it. I'd say it's nailed on at this point.

I'd have to do long distance warming up

FFC007

Well I suspect Silva and Wilson will be signing on the dotted line sharpish if we do qualify!

I didn't buy one in Hamburg for the final as I thought at €20 it was too expensive but probably regret that decision now!

I didnt either and also lost my jacket and camera on the train out of Wimbledon after an Epsom coach back from Hamburg. Despite this it was a great night

Imagine the meltdown on here if we'd played a 40 year old today! :slap:

Champions' League seems a bit hysterical but you can't look at that table, at this point in the season, and say one of the ancillary European comps isn't within our grasp. Happy to admit this is better than I expected 5-6 months ago.

Naturally to moderate that positivity, with a week of the window still open, if we don't do any major business, then fall away from European qualification, one could equally say the board will (again) appear to have either been naive about what was needed, or insufficiently ambitious, in order to sustain/achieve it.

I did and still have it tucked away in pristine condition. Maybe I should dig it out just in case.

Or maybe not prepared to make the signings we would need to have any chance of competing in both Europe and the Prem. at the same time.

The best part is dreaming of what could be.

But the reality is....Nottingham Forest found it tough as the season went on last year and the manner in which we are getting points isnt sustainable. Also, last season both Tottenham and United were horrific. Assuming Arsenal, City, Villa are in a good spot, we need to get above 2 of these teams (Liverpool, Chelsea, United). Thats a tall task.

The one positive could be this...we might be getting healthy at the right time and with AFCON over, Muniz coming back, some real depth again, we could make a push.

hopper

Last few seasons we have fallen away at the end, I don't think that will happen this season. We have Muniz coming back (who hopefully can stay fit). Chukwueze, King, Robinson should also all be fresh. So there is going to be less probability of fatigue. By April last season Iwobi could barely move, Raul frankly is in that state now understandably.

Champions League isn't going to happen surely, but would absolutely love Europa or more realistically the Conference League.

The table is insanely tight, so I don't think we're necessarily in a position of strength, but results wise we're in terrific form even if we've rode our luck a bit.

They were selling them at the club shop for £3 at the close season ! The Hamburg semifinal one was a nice shade of blue as I remember... That was also on sale ! ::scarf::

Europe is a distinct possibility, a big factor will be how many places there are in the league.
