Three games to go and they heading for double relegation, winning all three might not be good enough.

Not that long ago they won the Premier League.

Incredible to think that Bobby De Cordova Reed will be playing in League 1 next season.

Stoneleigh Loyalist

It's not the first time that this has happened to a league winning team.

Who remembers Man City doing a double drop only to play us opening game in League 1 as we came up from League 2. 3-0 Fulham with Dirk bagging a brace, and the Oasis brothers were in the Hamny End when we had that fenced off bit at the back with a bit of a hut, they were both giving it large early on

I was at that game, think it might of been an evening kick off

Was it fenced off or a Wonderwall?
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Not the Prem but I seem to recall Bolton a double relegation from the old first division. Did Leeds also do it or did they spend a year in divn. 2 before hitting divn 3?

It was indeed an evening game, and we spanked their backsides for them.

Wolves plunged, can't remember if they managed a double during that period. Have never forgiven Leicester for '83, Ivor's erroneously disallowed goal, Battle of the Baseball Ground, etc, so quite enjoying it.

My first 2 seasons watching Fulham involved Double Relegation very Painful.

Blackburn Rovers won it once and then were relegated twice

The OP was asking a question relating to the Premier League, not the old Division 1.
The PL was formed and established in 1992.

No, it was a fence not a wall

Really??? Not THE Ibane Bowat who runs a newsagent's shop in Margate. Wondered why he always closed Saturdays.
Thanks for the info.
