The "Uxbridge English Dictionary" is a silly game played on the BBC Radio 4 comedy series "I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue".  The idea is to invent funny definitions for words - for example: Platypus (to give your cat pigtails), Flemish (rather like snot), Celtic (a prison for fleas), Bunny (rather like a bun), or 'cherish' (rather like a chair).  Harmless nonsense!
