Do you go to 'The Shepherds' at Cotgrave? My best mate (sadly passed away in 2022) and his wife took me there a couple of times when i visited them in Radcliffe on Trent many years ago.

I've been to the Shepherds several times, its about a mile and a half from my house, we're very lucky in that there are several really good pubs/restaurants in the area and Nottingham town centre is excellent for "traditional" pubs and really good small "non-franchised" restaurants and bistros.

Yes great place Nottingham. Went to see Blondie just before i came to Thailand in 2009. Also saw Manfred Mann and they were brilliant, can't remember the year.
