Newcastle reportedly wants to sell Wilson, and if Footballinsider are to be believed,they are open to selling him for about 11 mil.

If it were to be true, I wouldnt mind us having a go. Think he would be a perfect for us. Very underrated goalscorer and would really provide Muniz with competion but also be a good mentor for the Brazilian. A nice little 2-3 yr deal. And if Muniz isnt grabbing the goals, Wilson surely would.

The upside is that he has a very decent scoring record. In addition he knows the Prem. Downside, putting aside surgery in Feb he is 32 - but5/10 goals may make it a wise investment

Concerned to go up against palace on this one. He would undoubtedly start at LW for us. Periera he'd have to usurp from CAM but he seems to be touting himself for a move anyway.

Sure i read somewhere they wanted 20-25 for him, not sure where i saw that. I would guess if we are interested we went inn with a feeler bid to see where they are at and now we discuss internally where we are willing to go to

Good point, we're certainly not in any issue in the homegrown department. We also have some promising youth in Harris/Godo/LDF/King/Tanton who could step into the fray in the coming years

Ah thanks for the clarification. I didn't know Benda was home grown. Think we're fine for this season then but as you said Cairney might not be here much longer.

Ah thanks for the clarification. I didn't know Benda was home grown. Think we're fine for this season then but as you said Cairney might not be here much longer.

I wasn't sure on Benda but it seems he joined Swansea just in time to get the 3 years needed to qualify for HG status in England and he was registered with the PL as homegrown last year.

CHO went for a very little amount of money but there were also a ton of add ons and a huge sell on clause which was reportedly why we balked at Chelsea's demands and didn't buy him.

40m? I'd be highly dubious we'd go that far and how on earth would this guy know what we're "willing" to go to, reckon that's b.s

I think we'd do well to offer 25m with add-ons up to 30 or just over based on performance bonuses. up to 35m if he wins a certain amount of England caps or something as then, presumably, he'd have been astonishing for us. Or a sell on percentage instead.

File this one under, will go for cheaper than 40m later in the window. Arsenal don't HAVE to sell, but come the end of the window - knowing he's not going to get much game time, a nice boost to their PSR for an academy product in and around the 30m region is going to get snapped up once it becomes obvious no ones punting 40m
