Sorry don't post much on here so not sure if link will work, but looks like ESR has arrived at hotel with the team in Portugal.

Here you go - you need to change the x.com to www.twitter.com for it to show up on here :)

Looks like we're simply waiting for the guy with the camera who's following him around to edit photos/videos - slightly trying. Wish they'd just announce it.

https://www.twitter.com/CleeveWestTown/status/1818659197090947457/video/2

To be fair he's going to be our record signing and he's got some pedigree behind him so they're probably (understandably) going to hype the signing with media footage etc.

You're right, and I do get it, but the last 24-48 hours have felt like it's gone on for a week. It's been a painstakingly slow process. That being said, it looks like he's signed and just waiting to be announced and is an exciting signing as you say. Can't wait to see him start to play and express himself.

You just know the bloke with the camera is going to get obliterated by the revolving door
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Not Fulham related but Arsenal are in for Viktor Gyokeres and he's not expected to go for less than the release clause of €100m. We really missed the boat not getting him in last season when he only cost £20m.

He rejected all his PL offers to go to Sporting. Not much you can do there.

We also didn't know that Mitro would throw his toys out of his pram to move to Saudi Arabia until after he had moved. Had the Saudis bid earlier in the window we might have had a chance, but being second fiddle is a far harder sell.

hahahahaha

Bit of an immature post Freibird. It's just my opinion, and I think we still have issues with our approach. Currently 2 weeks away from the season desperately short in the spine of the team - CB & CM.

Very chuffed with the business of ESR and Sess. I'm more than fine with some deals being late but I do find our strategy too last minute - and have heard journalists like Raphael Honigstein. report that y that the club are considered unprofessional in their approach.

Simply not true. Gyökeres signed for Sporting a week before the Mitrovic rumors started. So us signing a 20 m striker as a back up was never going to happened, unless the club knew something the rest of us didnt.

However....

Fullkrüg is a striker I wish we would have gone for once we sold Mitro. When Mitro was off, or at least made his intentions clear, we did have a decent shot at signing Fullkrug. Only costing Dortmund 12 mil as well. He would have made a perfect Mitro-like-for-like replacement, and now West Ham want him.

Freibird is always on this MB looking for a fight so tell that to him.

Fulkrug would've been a better replacement than Jimenez IMO, but Jimenez only costed 5m. Now West Ham are looking at signing Fulkrug. Who would've known Muniz would turn out to be our star striker though.

It was aimed at him as well pal don't worry. I've clashed with him quite a few times as well. Just trying to simmer tempers a little is all. We all support Fulham that's the main thing.  ::scarf::

That and we sign Smith Rowe asap before I have to eat a hat!

I really liked Fullkrug at the time but glad we didnt now: would have only blocked Muniz's rise and look at the asset we have on our hands now. Would have been another (albeit very good) expensive 30+ year old with diminishing resale value blocking promising youth development. Hopefully we are slowly learning that lesson (he says as the Stansfield for sale rumours ramp up).

Having just posted about the same thing, I also don't appreciate posters who seem to just try and start arguments. Went back 30 odd pages to grab a quote from me and try embarrass me, whilst contributing nothing to the conversation. I don't see the point in that.

Stansfield one is interesting, can only imagine that Marco isn't convinced that his game will work in the PL at the moment. Like everyone else though, I was extremely eager to see him become part of the first team at long last.

Don't know if this old news
https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-wolves-and-fulham-race-to-sign-isaak-toure/

Wolves and Fulham are in the hunt to sign Lorient defender Isaak Touré, sources have told Football Insider.

Lorient are ready to sell the 21-year-old this summer following their relegation from Ligue 1 with the £25m rated centre-back available for a cut-price £15m fee.

Only costing 5 but 100k a week. So whatever money we saved on his fee we had to pay in wages. Either way, he has not lived up to being a top earner at our club

Wonder if we can add transfer source tiers like other club forums

So much gas spent is spent by our fanbase on terrible sources like footballinsider and twitter-based compulsive liars

If we would have signed Fullkrug he would have done a better job than Raul, is what you are implying. And i totally agree. However, I prefer Fulhams success over Muniz personal success. If we would have gotten it right with Raul would ideally have been the best
