Newcastle fans all seem to be saying walk away now. Wouldn't be surprised if they go for Chalobah and he's more likely to want go there. Possibly opens up the door for Andersen.
If I was a Newcastle fan and we went from potentially signing Guehi to signing Chalobah, I'd feel pretty underwhelmed.

Looking at their twitter reaction they all seemed to be well up for it. Think he's a decent player with potential if he can stay fit and literally half the asking price.

Having said that I'd prob still prefer Andersen for the same money..not injured all the time, more physical, better in the air and a better passer so apart from age personally id agree.

Caedal

Have there been any reports that our second bid for Anderson was rejected?

If not it's seems likely it could happen

Very tenuous link as story is about his agent and fees.

I'd be pretty surprised if we spent big money on a right winger this window with Adama looking very good in preseason and Wilson as a quality backup especially considering our other high priority needs.

not an area that's needs a player, unless he plays left side.

None yet as far as I am aware and considering it sounds like Newcastles 3rd bid was after ours and theirs has been rejected already certainly looks interesting. Really hope Newcastle move on to someone else and then looks incredibly promising. Pray, pray, pray.

Aslo from what I've seen of him when playing for both Colombia and Watford, he seems better suited for the number 10 role, and we have even more depth there.

I speculated on here a few months ago about Asprilla being a good young prospect we should keep an eye on..

More so that he is left footed so could play on either wing, especially if any rumours are still persisting with Wilson being linked to a move to Holland IIRC.

He is also "homegrown" believe it or not having spent 3 years at Watford.

Nero

apparently on the Leeds rumour mill, we've put in £12.5M bid for Leeds PAscal Struijk and Fulham want the deal done be the end of the week, but Leeds want to postpone it following Rutters exit to Brighton (Leeds are falling apart again) sure he plays left side

This is demonstrated at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bcz4ANUVtE

Whether we are seriously interested or should be, am unequipped to say, but if he was here already I'd be excited.

Jims Dentist

Would certainly be an upgrade on Wilson and more versatile.

Jims Dentist

Wonder if we may eventually go back for Sousa.

Seemingly super sketch source most Leeds fans dismissing as nonsense. Would imagine our eyes are set higher

In other news and according to Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy it seems ex Fulham academy midfielder Matt O'Riley is close to joining Europa Cup holders Atalanta for €27m from Celtic

He played LCB in a four against Pompey on Saturday so almost certainly fake news
