Think Berge will be a win win for him and us,also he should improve on what we have in the building as well, that's what it's about to push onwards and upwards as a club ,stagnate is not an option as a team .To keep Marco and his team we have to back him which the khans are doing that and keep doing it.

Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:

Ipswich's loan move for Armando Broja is expected to include an option to buy, worth in the region of £30m.

This would become an obligation if Ipswich were to avoid Premier League relegation.

Broja is expected to undergo a medical on Wednesday.

I think they are working very well in the transfer window

They're certainly splashing the cash on forwards. Already spent £30m combined on two forwards in Szmodics and Delap. Our forward line combined cost us less than just Szmodics, though Jimenez is on big wages.

I suspect Ipswich were given a stark choice: Have him on loan with an obligation to buy or don't have him at all.

So Ipswich won't be paying £30m for Broja then  :slap:

That was my thoughts and if they have to they'll be delighted as they managed to stay up.

I mean, if he's scored 3 goals in like 15 appearances and they stay up, having to fork out £30m might seem like a devastating amount of money when looking at the books still with championship seasons in though so its tricky. They must have some real faith in him, thats for sure.

Joking aside, I do sort of wonder how these types of deals are allowed within the same league.

Chelsea are essentially gambling that Ipswich will stay up, and Chelsea have the ability to - somewhat - impact that outcome.

Imagine a scenario where Chelsea play Ipswich on the final day, Chelsea have nothing to play for but if Ipswich win they stay up. Chelsea gain £30m if they throw the game and, rules/ethics aside, not much to lose.

I get why these deals exist, but it does seem like they sort of shouldn't be allowed between teams in the same league...

I thought Broja looked OK, but it was very hard to say with the limited amount of pitch time he had with us.
Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Would have been good to see more of Broja on the pitch for us  last season.I presume Marco decided it wasn't going to happen for him at CC

Same deal we offered last week it seems, not a bargain but a great player with proven quality ! Sounds like itll probably be 25m with 5m of addons as this seems to be every deal 😅

Perhaps saving elsewhere with the likes of berge helps us afford to raise our offer here.

Delighted to have Andersen if it goes through!

COYW!

OMG Anderson is coming back!

Don't care about the fee, just so happy!

Jeeez 30mil seems a bit much

Going rate for a decent prem CB nowadays, plus he's what we need in a ball playing CB that adresses our deficiencies. Also means we have perfect combo for him in Bassey because he's got the pace to cover Joa's lack thereof and the fact his game isn't built on pace means he's probably got 6-7 years left at this level

Thats inclusive of addons so likely 5m less upfront youd think. If anything like ESR those could be around silverware or European qualification.

Seems like Andersen will be joining back. Don't know I'm a bit mixed with this one. I think he is an good defender, hopefully he is an much better version from the Andersen we saw 4 years ago, if it's the case looking forward to it  ::scarf::

@jolslover

Quality signing that. Great ball playing CB who will compliment Bassey well. Can't complain at all.

So with him and Berge in, how many more do people think we will get?  I think 2. DM and Winger.

'In Principle' is always an odd phrase. In Principle I am going to be good and kind and love all Gods creatures. Still Anderson is certainly somebody we have been trying to get in. Be interesting to see if it happens.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope
