The reason why I'm against this move is sess is in the same position building up fitness etc so he can play 90 mins many older players can't last 90 mins youngsters not getting in 1st team,and silver not extending his contract where does that leave our club if it goes tits up.

Feel this summer may be a quiet one for us, unless Silva extends his contract now, in my view, Khan's can't back him this summer. I think we're better off getting him out now if he doesn't extend and give a new manager full backing.

All depends whether tactically we want to buy anyone before the 30th of June as that is when the FFP year ends. Also depends if the selling club wants to sell before then 30th of June for their FFP tactics. Supposedly we have room so could have done if we wanted to but no reason really unless a bargain came up from a club desperate to sell before then to balance their FFP books. Prob more focused on checking we still have Silva and trying to tie him and a number of players down to extensions/longer contracts I would have thought. Would just really love to hear about a Tete signature and an extension for Silva, King, Harry, Muniz and De Fougerolles the next few weeks. TC of course if he fancies it. Would be a great start to the windows if we got that.

And, as I said, my view is you can't back a manager with 12 months left, yes Silva is integral, didn't say he wasn't. But please send me a link to Silva agreeing a new long term contract that provides stability for the club and easier to back him to meet his own "ambition".

I read on the SSN article (usually quite a reliable source) we are looking at spending over 100m on 4 key signings (2 wingers, young striker and a CM) .. said that was assuming no further outgoings and Tete stays (ie if he leaves we may get an RB and if Pereira leaves another CAM/CM).

That would be ideal but I'll believe it when I see it.

Fulham are ready to sign Palhinha on loan if it becomes clear that reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are prepared to do business, according to GMS sources, and he could prove to be among up to five fresh faces as board members are keen to show Silva that they are prepared to back him with big-name arrivals.

Agree with this. Not to mention that we are actively looking to strengthen in all attacking areas, as was quoted by Sky Sports some weeks ago. Plus the club have come out and said that no approaches have been made for MS by other clubs this summer.

Palhinha will be looking for regular game time to ensure he's in the Portugal WC squad.

A loan back to us might be his best bet.

I have just been told if we buy players over 27 we get extra green shield stamps into perspective perieria we paid 10 mil plus sell on fee at 29 we will struggle to get 15 plus, mr chairman silva and your son should be selling burgers not near doing transfer deals,the only sad thing is you can't make money out of a 27 /28 year old.No old peoples homes can't be turned into under 18s academy s.palace and Brentford are making us look like fools get real before we get relegated.
