I don't know, I think Rory Stewart might be a left field signing because I doubt the other 19 PL clubs are considering signing him so it'd be a free run at him if we wanted him

Or we could be ambitious and sign a striker that is an upgrade on the two we have. That's my preference. Easy said than done I know but why not ?

Finite resources and other more clear positions to make upgrades on is the point I think. The idea wasn't saying to sign someone who will be worse than the other two but someone with potential to be as good or better, but maybe isn't there just yet/young etc. and so happy to develop as 2nd/3rd option.

We have two good strikers. One could well still hit a higher ceiling (Muniz) as he's coming into his supposed prime year's. Next year might be Rauls last here so next summer we're likely to also buy another striker, so that seems the more sensible time to splash big on CF then if necessary.

If we lose Tete then that's a big blow given how good he is and so RB will need addressing. So spending a wedge on someone as good as Bellanova not the worst idea if he can also upgrade our RM options too at the same time. Then we clearly need improvement in centre mid which will likely be a fair outlay. Especially if TC and AP depart.

Then we probably need another winger and may lose Diop so CB becomes something to look at unless we're confident in Luc D F.

All this said I still think there's zero chance we get Bellanova but I'll be happily surprised if Tete does decide to go and that's his replacement
