It'll be a real blow if Muniz does go. It's looking likely. Taremi as a replacement at 33 years old isn't going to help us reduce the age of the squad so I hope we have other options on the list!

May have played a winger there for whoever he thinks is best as a back up for Saturday if we haven't signed a reserve striker by then. Wouldn't be surprised if Adama as a complete guess. That is if he doesn't feel Lupulo-Bi isn't ready yet and guessing that is his thoughts as he played against Sutton whereas neither youth left back did.

We must have Taremi plus one lined up if we're at this stage. Hopefully a massive fee is reinvested into Kevin and another striker and we use what was our existing ~£35m budget to buy a quality #8 and winger (I assume it'll sort Nelson/Sterling out)

Feel irs quire a big step for a player to say goodbyes before a bid has even been accepted.

£30+ million for Muniz is too little imo. He scored against all the big clubs last season, the goals he scores are high quality. The way he scored against Liverpool, the last minute Chelsea goal.

We really need nearer to £50m for him. Can imagine Marco will be disappointed losing him this close to the season.

Feel Muniz should've been given much more game time and a better contract a while back, would've completely changed the context of this whole situation.

Maybe. It would be good to just get clarity. The original suggestion from another ITK was that he also wasn't at the game when people saw him.

I'd just be interested if he actually played or not to be honest. It is strange the club despite the rumours hasn't clarified it though so might be true.

Honestly, Jack Kelly is out of his depth if he's reporting Muniz saying goodbyes before a fee and not willing to share a source. That's a massive lead. He's trying to get stuck in as a journalist but will soon learn posting stuff like that and less than an hour later posting an article that he isn't leaving and the AP story will hurt his credibility long term.
