Muniz stays because we don't find a suitable replacement. Ball is in our court as it was with JP because we get to decide if a replacement is suitable and we can go to anyone who showed late and tell them if you have that much interest you should have moved earlier.

Kevin... Comes to Fulham, his agent seems very motivated, both teams have shown willingness to move a little on fee.

3rd choice striker, this will either not come or come very late like last day.

Nelson, only if Kevin doesn't happen.

CM, unlikely unless we find someone we think is undervalued like a Cuenca type.

As much as many of us think we need a CM, given that we've only had a couple of links to any CMs (KDH and Luiz), I don't think the club view it as a priority, unfortunately.

I think the potential stumbling block is moving on either Pereria or Reed with no suitors really.

6 - Berge, Lukic, Reed
8 - Berge, Lukic, King, Pereria, Cairney
10 - ESR, Pereria, Cairney, Wilson, Iwobi, King

I appreciate people might disagree with some of those, but they've all played in those roles at some stage but unless we see players out, namely Reed/Pereria, I don't see how we can add someone in as we have at least 2 in each role which is Silva's position.

I agree we should strengthen here but I wonder I can't help but link no movements OUT in this area as a reason why we haven't, and probably won't.

Quote from: Lordedmundo on August 19, 2025, 03:12:19 PMLatest report from the same Rudy Galetti is that Lookman may end up staying with Atalanta as the 'Milan option is off'. So, I can't see where they can get the money to buy Muniz now.

I don't think they were ever going to offer us what we want anyway. They push clubs to buy their players really cheap (like Lookman at £10m) - and then try to sell for much higher after a couple of seasons when they are at their peak. Nothing against that, but Fulham should hold firm and not be coerced. Atalanta obviously want to get Muniz for £35m, so they have the opportunity to sell him for £50m plus in 1-2 seasons. According to Transfermarkt - they have only ever once paid over £25m for a player.

They already sold a striker for big money, see Retegui. They have the dosh if they're willing to spend it.

Pereira must've been upset Saturday not getting on the pitch when we used all 5 Substitutes.

If there clubs genuinely interested in buying him we really should have looked to do a deal.

Fully pumped for what pages 300-399 will bring this window.

Agree - We missed the boat last window when we could have offloaded him, he is almost certainly a write off now in terms of profit, but could contribute a few bob towards someone else

And a backup goalkeeper to show for it!

Surely an update is inbound after the meeting with Kevin's agents?

Imagine how good we could be with a proper dof and recruitment team.

Some valid points you raise in your post.

Tell Atalanta to bugger off!  Screw them!

Keep Muniz, offer improved contract.  Just do it!

Re: Kevin - I have yet to see any reliable analysis on his injury, meniscus, and how serious this condition is and when he would be available to actually play.  Anyone have anything?
